What's new for E3?:
This is the first time 1UP has seen the game in action. Behind closed doors at E3, Sega revealed a short section of a level where Bayonetta -- the character -- ran through what looked like a cathedral into an outdoor area with holographic-looking civilians walking around. According to Sega representatives, these are characters that exist in an alternate dimension who can't see you, but can see the destruction you cause. Clearly, this will play into the game's story, but 1UP doesn't know much about how at this point.
The demo level was pretty short, featuring a battle with a series of small enemies and then one miniboss at the end. Notably, as soon as Bayonetta dropped into battle, a J-pop song with full vocals played, making the whole thing feel a bit like a Final Fantasy trailer.

Creator of Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Wonderful 101 comments on how they're all part of the same universe.
I could definitely see a Bayonetta/Dante game. Imagine them initially battling each other before eventually teaming up to take on the big baddies. Now, imagine what their child(ren) would be like.
Bayonetta and Dante I could see but even then with how their lore differs it's a hard sell. For the others...I just can't see it at all.
I feel he's just saying whatever comes to him online

She also played Chun-Li and Major from Ghost in the Shell
oh shit, i did know that the Major voice actress passed away but i didnt know she voiced bayonetta too

The creator of the Bayonetta franchise Hideki Kamiya appeared in an interview and discussed the plans for the future of the series.
