Missing in Action from the Xbox E3 Keynote

Digital Joystiq: "Monday was Microsoft's big E3 presentation and there was a some cool things shown and some really big announcements like the new dashboard, Avatars, playing games on the hard drive and Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360. Before I get to talking about those let me mention was missing from the show."

Have people forgotten that blogs are not allowed to be submitted?

Syko6549d ago

Sooooo....8bitjoystiq's website is OK, but The Blog that 8bitjoystiq writes for and gets most of his "Stories" from isn't OK. I think you don't understand the submitting rules to tell you the truth.

Cat6549d ago

Blogs from industry insiders and professionals are welcome on N4G, like this one from a developer and reviewer.

ry-guy6549d ago

This is the blog that broke the story about Bungie and Microsoft splitting.

InMyOpinion6549d ago

80% of the "news" on N4G are based on blogs.

I also hate how they approve stories where the titles have been twisted and people have been misquoted.

On topic: Why didn't they show some of the episodic content for GTA IV? And where was Warhound and Alan Wake? I think they are saving them for later.

Doesn't matter if these guys actually owned the 360(hahah) they would know this next week will be packed full of surprizes, hell there are calendars and schedules all over XBL.

over 100 upcoming games are going to be talked about and announced in the next week MSFT still has to announce the two secret exclusives coming out this year.

Drekken6549d ago

lips, eyes, nose, jumping jax, hoola hoops, hop scotch, uno, bridge, maj jong, marbles, god of battle, guido brothers, petroid, plastic gear fluid, unexplored, wrench and bang, seldo - midnight queen... yeah they are all coming.

MS is so original with all their original titles... expect to hear more next week!!!

power of Green 6549d ago (Edited 6549d ago )

No back to my Crab sesame Surimi rolls.

EDIT: uuuh Hot you made put too much Wasabi on my roll.

Drekken6549d ago

hahaha... Snort it like Steve-O... Make a video. That should entertain me!

pizzas6549d ago (Edited 6549d ago )

New exclusives lol. There were none. Just a stolen 3rd party title that is now multi-platform with the PS3 version of the game coming out a lot sooner and nothing more.

Well done, M$. Well done.

Edit: @ below: Unless you have something smart to say don't reply to me. Microsoft DID pay for the 360 version. You DO know Square-Enix haven't even started working on the 360 version right? You DO know they've been working on the PS3 version since 2005 right? You DO know the 360 will be getting a port right? Don't waste my time.

thenickel6549d ago

You fanboys crack me up everyday on this site.

Drekken6549d ago

All they did water water down, gimp and Delay FF. Thx MS

InMyOpinion6549d ago (Edited 6549d ago )

What new exclusives do you think Sony will show? LBP & Heavy Rain? None of them are new. All they have are sequels. Motorstorm 2, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, SOCOM 4(or is it 5?). They will probably show a sequel to Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter as well. And a sequel to Ico or Shadow of the Colossus. Big surprises, if you've slept under a rock the past 12 months.

Their biggest exclusives are FPS's. I remember when people mocked the 360 for only having FPS games, and now all of the biggest PS3 exclusives are FPS games lol! All of a sudden it's ok, cause it's Playstation, right?

Infamous

Game looks sick if you haven't seen it. There are nearly 20 1st party developers for Sony, you don't think there MIGHT be something you haven't seen yet?

InMyOpinion6549d ago

Infamous? Is that the game where you play as J.Allard with psychic powers? J/k, it looks cool.

Sounds like a job for Sargent Nikolas Angel and Constable Butterman.
LOLZ!

Choonqpead6549d ago

Lol, but seriously I have become very interested in PJ's halo game. It sounds like it should be an interesting concept and at least we know its still coming. Alan wake on the other hand isn't looking so good. I remember seeing some of the first screen shots from that game and going wow...now i'm just hoping it gets released : )

I think we saw enough halo wars videos last night to satisfy our grunty thirst. At least i did anyways, i didn't need it in the keynote.

To be honest i'm not even taking this article in a bad way because i am happy with what we have now. Bungie's mysterious project should be revealed in a days time when their countdown ends, and with all of the gears and banjo news i'm set for a while now.

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde59d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy59d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
