The console version of Diablo 3 isn't "miles better". The control scheme is different, but that's a personal preference (I prefer the controller, but I miss targetting movement skills and AOEs freely).

The console version is obviously miles better if you want to play couch co-op, but then the PC version can be played in 4k stereoscopic 3D and looks surprisingly superb. And of course the console version allows you to roll into vases and furniture, which is worth a lot in my mind :)

But the main reason Diablo 3 has any advantage on the console is that Blizzard refuse to allow control pads on the PC version for reasons unknown. I don't think Neverwinter restricts that, so probably best playing wherever your friends play. Or not playing at all, because free to play is a smeg.
