1. Agreed. Ubisoft need to stop this annual release business. It's ruining every second AC game starting from AC:Brotherhood.

Revelations, AC3, AC:Unity were all underwhelming unfinished games.

2. Combat actually devolved in Unity. Moves that have been available from AC2 were locked to the player until like half way through the game. Standard moves like Dual assassination, Air assassination, Dual air assassination etc were not available from the start which was idiotic. Not to mention, the removal of counter-kills was idiotic too. People generally wanted to finish combat quickly and run off, but by removing counters, it extended combat which is mostly unenjoyable and a hindrance. I don't want a Shadow of Mordor/Batman Arkham Asylum style combat, but I think they should take inspiration from Witcher 2/3.

3. Ubisoft must stop releasing games early full stop. If they know the game needs 5 more months for bug fixing and optomization, then they must take it. This rush for the holiday window to increase profits will have an opposite effect next game. I am now less inclined to buy AC:Victory on launch day because Unity's missions were mostly boring and the game was riddled with bugs and framerate issues. Go back to the biannual release windows. That way your teams have more time to come up with more interesting missions, innovative gameplay and more time to fix bugs and optimize the experience.

4. No. Not a story like Black Flag. Black Flag's story was an exception because it was a pirate setting. The story must fit its setting. Since Victory is set in Victorian London, the story must be dark and goth-like. Inspired by Penny Dreadful stories (obviously without the vampires, dead things etc). Also, don't deliver a half-baked modern storyline like you did in Unity. That was taking the cake. Either completely omit it or do a proper one. AC4 and AC:Rogue had better modern day storylines.

5. The character doesn't have to be like Ezio but he/she should be as well developed and likable as Ezio. He/she should also match the setting and somehow be critical to historical events during that period. Unlike Arno who had little to no role in the French Revolution. Altair and Ezio were pivotal to the historical events in their games. The character should also NOT be like Connor where turns from a pivotal character to an errand boy. Edward Kenway is an exception because he's a pirate so quite a different character to everyone.

I only want a good story and more modern day gameplay, AC has a very interesting plot tbh and that's what kept me going trough all the games and buy each one of them day one, if the story is handled correctly it could surpass even the hollywood movies
