Andrew Lim and James Montagna have brought lightbox games to the masses with Dot Arcade for the Wii U. For $4.99 players can experience the novelty of a lightbox console on a home console they already own. It is certainly one of the neatest premises for a game in recent memory, but is it fun enough to spend money on?
Veteran game designer James Montagna is directing this new project and apparently has a new outlook on game design after teaming up with Nintendo
In a WayForward Interview, Vitamin Connection project lead and director James Montagna talked about how the game was made and how he hopes it helps people bond.
VGChartz: "James Montagna is a very busy man. Besides being a veteran employee at WayForward Technologies, having worked on hits such as Mighty Switch Force! and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, he's also branched off into making his own indie games on the side. Last year he released the delightful Wii U eShop exclusive Dot Arcade, and now James is back with a fun puzzle game called Sour Buddies. "
