I love remasters of old games and I am glad they're happening and in fact I wish more games would get a remaster like FF7 crisis core, shadow of the colossus PS4, Dark souls 1, demons souls and the list goes on and on. These are all amazing titles that I would buy again instantly and I am sure many of you have missed out on these titles last gen as well.

Don't want them? Don't buy them. Not complicated. It's not harming the industry, clearly there is a want for the games or they wouldn't sell as well as they do. Bitching about something so inconsequential is ridiculous.

I really don't care about them some games i never got to play last gen so it does help and some games i just want to play again, if you don't want them don't buy them you complaining isn't going to stop them from happening and people need to realise that when they do this they have a small team working on it so the rest can finish what ever they are working on.

Honestly unless the game gets a treatment on par with The Master Chief Collection, we should not be giving up our money for more of these cheap quick cash ins.

1) It is arrogant to think that people who are just getting in to gaming for the first time shouldn't get to experience great older games. Not everyone owned a PS3 to play TLoU or God of War. And not everyone has played all the Halo games etc.

2) As long as creating remasters doesn't reduce the number of new IP or other AAA titles that could be released, then I don't see the problem

3) We need something to fill the gaps in the lack of big releases as new games get more expensive and take longer to produce. Remasters are cheaper and quicker to make.

4) No one is forcing you to buy the remasters

Please remaster every game and I will never click your website.

I find many remasters to be a great thing.
Playing Final Fantasy X and MGS 3 again with clearer graphics and on a system I still have brings me great joy.

Any last gen game that goes from 720p/30fps to 1080p/60fps is well worth it. The Last of Us, Tomb Raider PS4 and soon to be released Dark Souls 2 come to mind. Also, GTA 5 was an amazing remaster. I don't mind it, if you don't like it don't buy. It's that simple. I would love to see Bioshock, Bioshock 2 & Infinite all remastered at 1080p/60fps. I would buy a Demon's Souls 1080p/60fps remaster. Fallout 4 & New Vegas at 1080p/60fps. Gears of War Series Remastered at 1080p/60fps. Alan Wake Remaster 1080p/60fps, Max Payne 3 1080p/60fps, Uncharted Collection 1080p/60fps. In other words, I'm a supporter.
