Gamespot collapses under E3 traffic load

I dont even like the FF series but judging by the 400+ comment in the FF article in under 30 minutes most people seem really pist.

Frankly people are just going to get fed up like i did. I just want to play freakin games and frankly I just got tired of WAITING.

Almost happy Sony got their teeth kicked in, they kinda needed it.

everytime i would try, i would get either:

*page displayed but the player would not load..i would get a bloody black screen forever

Oh and the forums were dead too, and still are.

Yeah it dies on me too, but it started working about half an hour in and was much more stable than G4TV, and then it died again at the end.

Great time to come back online.. I checked out IGN and they have a much better quality stream anyhow.. Hate gamespot so all the better.

GAF is also struggling heavily under the load with 500 internal server errors - so much for their E3 'preparation'.
