The open-world zombie horror game Dying Light from Polish developers Techland has set some new and impressive records.

Dying Light: The Beast is Steam Deck verified, Techland announced today!

Techland: “Game development is never a straight line, and sometimes fresh approaches are necessary to make great games. What’s important here is that none of the reported changes have resulted in staff reductions. Developers were moved to other projects and are working on a number of games in our pipeline.
Our primary focus right now is to release Dying Light: The Beast for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. After the launch of Dying Light: The Beast, we will share more about future titles in due time.”
The Retouched update for Dying Light that improves graphical features has been released; here's how it compares with the Enhanced Edition.
I remember playing this for the first time on the PS4 and it knocking me sick and hurting my eyes due to the horrible motion blur and FPS.
Played it a lot on pc a year later. Then again on ps5 once they dropped the 60fps update. I'll be giving it another go. Mad how they have kept updating this game for 10 years.
Didnt buy this when it first came out as a digital only game :/ I never buy new games digitaly and sadly the physical copies were delayed by a month. Theres quite a few upcoming games so I dont have time and money for DL as of now.
Good thing that theres never new game release mid-year. Probably going to pick DL then.
This is such a good game in coop drop kicks, dismemberment, grappling hooks, parkour and awesome weapons, I play exclusively in coop I imagine it would get a bit dull in single player but in coop it's fantastic I absolutly reccomend it as a coop game its got lots of side objectives that are pretty fun like sneaking through abandoned quarantine zones and chasing down air drops before enemy's get there also night time is pretty intense we sneak around after air drops and supplies.
Best Next Gen game so far.
To bad the co-op broke the damn trophies an they still have yet to fix it.
Good for them. I genuinely enjoyed this game. It took me a bit by surprise as I was not really eager for its arrival.
