Claims that XBox One doesn't have any games the first part of the year appear to be BS. This game is an 8 on Metacritic (for PC version), there's the Forza Fast and Furious standalone DLC this month (free to play until April 10th), and Bloodborne would be doing phenomenal IF it can out rate Ori. Even if it does, it isn't as diverse a title as Ori being one of the best platformers ever released while being less expensive ($20), not as long and drawn out yet still satisfying (especially for the money), and having a wider appeal.

Plus Uncharted is delayed... it could be said that Sony fans are the ones who over promised and under delivered all while MS keeps delivering update after update and excellent release after excellent release... even though most of the new features and titles are due in the holiday season, that doesn't mean XBox One doesn't have anything going on now the way Sony fans have been saying would happen since late last year.

Angerfist4083d ago

Yep. I agree. Both had there good amount of games. But Forza Fast Standalone for free, Ori, State of Decay etc are enough new games each Month that are exclusive. Xb1 is the right choixe, MS learned from its mistakes.

slappy5084083d ago

Ziggurat is a good game to have on xbox I played it on steam, quite challenging. Didn't know state of decay was coming to X1, that's a must buy for me, as I didn't play the x360 version

lemoncake4083d ago

Unlike Sony, microsoft seems to be pushing these games out very quickly after announcement sometimes without any announcement at all. I have been surprised how many games keep dropping each week on xbox one atm and a lot of unexpected releases.

travestyj4083d ago

Microsoft has nothing to do with the release of Ziggurat. Many more games have been releasing for PS4 lately.

spicelicka4083d ago

Well it really depends what you kind of games you care about. It's not a ratings battle, everyone has their own type of game to look forward too.

Bloodborne and Ori are nothing alike. If I care more about Bloodborne I couldn't care less what ratings Ori got.

I personally care most about Halo 5. I would be still be satisfied with Halo 5 even if Sony released a dozen AAA exclusives at once.

travestyj4083d ago

@RealityModeler

Not to say anything negative about Xbox but cpmparing Ori and Bloodborne doesn't make much sens. The PS4 gets critically acclaimed digital titles constantly. In the last few weeks PS4 has gotten Jamestown, Hotline Miami 2, OlliOlli 2, Helldiver and Starwhal. All games rated 80+ on metactitic. Once MLB 15 comes out on the 31st that will be 5 AAA titles PS4 has gotten since Halo MCC. We have gotten LBP 3, Guilty Gear Xrd, The Order and then Bllodborne and The Order. There is also Toukiden (Monster Hunter type game) coming out on PS4. There are also many more AAA titles planned for PS4 this year such as Tearaway Unfolded, Persona 5, Disgaea 5, Ratchet & Clank reimigining, Until Dawn, Dragon Quest Heroes and many more plus games like Rime and No Man's Sky.
They both have worthwhile games coming so don't try to downplay what the PS4 has to offer.

RealityModeler4083d ago (Edited 4083d ago )

When people stop illogically downplaying XBox One with BS such as "MS lies" while then they appear to be liars for claiming that XBox One wouldn't have any games (at least, lairs by their standard of the meaning), then I likely won't then be as prone to make that mistake... though I really wasn't comparing the games as much as I was comparing the release of games.

The sort of hypocrisy where that you think it is wrong to downplay PS4 while Sony fans downplay XBox constantly is annoying... like AA batteries that last much longer are inferior, DRM is evil while Sony is 100% DRM with PS Now and everyone buying digital now is unable to share games while spending the same amount of money, the XBox is ugly while the PS4 looks very "sleek" with only two USB ports in the front that require cables and dongles sticking out of it for connecting most anything, and the external PSU of the XBox is claimed so terrible and inferior in design while the internal PSU of the PS4 makes its angled design appear genius for use as a doorstop when the PSU fails out of warranty.

gamertk4214083d ago

If I did a post just like that one for Xbox one, I would be called a shill.

LAWSON724083d ago (Edited 4083d ago )

AAA requires expensive budget with ads and Dev costs.

Most of what you mentioned is not AAA other than Bloodborne and The Order. You cannot throw out indies and JP games like they are AAA because they are far from it. Persona 5, SF5, MH, DQ, and FFXV are some of the only AAA games from JP. The only indie that may get an ad campaign is No Mans Sky.

travestyj4082d ago

@LAWSON72

Pretty much all the games I listed are AAA and have large budgets. I listed a bunch of low budget titles because he listed Ori as a big exclusive. MLB15, LBP3 are AAA for obvious reasons, Guilty Gear Xrd is a $60 retail game made a big company that has been making games for years. PS4 still has more AAA exclusive games coming out than any other platform.

@RealityModeler

You are doing exactly what you are complaining about. Your comment is the definition of hypocrisy. You get mad about people downplaying Xbox than write a long comment downplaying the PS4. Stop being so sensitive. It is just a plastic box and everyone has different opinions.

RealityModeler4081d ago (Edited 4081d ago )

@travestyj, the difference is that I am not illogically downplaying the PS4 with hypocritical BS such as AA batteries that last longer, that may be the most common on Earth, and that are replaceable with rechargeable are inferior all while people have to buy multiple PS4 controllers for battery changes, throw away their controllers when the batteries wear out, and (unless buying an accessory) they constantly have to have the controllers plugged into the front of their "sleek" designed PS4 that makes it look messy and toyish rather than like home entertainment equipment (the XBox only has USB ports on the back and the side that allow for side mounted add-ons while PS4 is destine to have ugly add-ons sticking out the front or humpback on top). PS4 owners might as well call their controllers wired with option of temporary wireless.

People that show superiority OVER are who like to ask people to quit being sensitive to what's fLAMER. I will not act numb towards illogical BS. I don't bend to fLAMER WILLie, and I complain when it is tried.

Not to mention NeverWinter Nights comes out this month too on Xbox One...so again just certain members on this site that like to pretend that Xbox has no games to play until the summer.

But let they say that as I'm sure it helps them celebrate in the afternoon then sleep tight at night.

Antifan4083d ago

You're crying way too much, dude. No one cares about review scores anymore. The legacy of the Xbox is dead. It's no longer trending in the public eye. It's becoming so desperate over a Xbox HQ, their paying everybody and their momma to say something good about Xbox. Remember Machinma? Ori? It's on Steam ya dupe lol. Jesus, stop whining. No one care if you think xbox720p is superior lol

These brand new games feel like they were made in the 90s, and it's great
