game publishers for gaming enthusiasts, announces a development partnership with Boomzap Ltd.
K2 Network and Boomzap have entered into a co-development partnership on a yet unannounced social gaming title. This new IP will be available in early 2009 and marks the beginning of K2 Network expanding its industry presence into the development of original titles. The founders of Boomzap, Allan Simonsen and Christopher Natsuume, have over 15 years of combined experience in the video game industry, with millions of units sold in over a dozen titles for PC, PS2, Xbox, and NGage. Boomzap is a realization of a lifelong dream to run a development studio that genuinely respects developers and consumers.

Copyright is copyright. DMCA is a good thing that protects creators IP., revenue and usage. and you can absolutely appeal a wrongful DMCA takedown. It’s happened to me. Was easily resolved.
No system will ever be perfect, but there needs to be a review, unless it blatant.
Until there's genuine consequences for this type of abuse, it'll keep happening across all media. DMCA is in principle a good thing, but it needs an overhaul.
