Every year, gamers, journalists, publishers and developers converge upon the Los Angeles Convention Center for one major event – the Electronic Entertainment Expo.As always, many of the largest game publishers and backers of the big three consoles will present their newest plans to the world. We’re gonna look into our crystal ball and deliver you our predictions for what we think Microsoft will unveil during their press presentation.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

Dear team,
Xbox has always been different.
We started with a simple idea. Games should bring people together through shared experiences. That led to the first Xbox in 2001, Xbox Live in 2002, and new ways to connect, from friends lists and achievements to parties and play across devices. Today, Xbox reaches over 500 million players around the world, with some of the most important franchises in entertainment.
If they go back to exclusive games it at least shows that they are finally getting it. They would be turning down immediate money for something that will potentially workout in the long term.
Only issue is they've already opened Pandora's box. A lot of their base has moved to PC or jumped to PS. So will be a long road to get back on track.
We have been saying this from day one exclusives are a must if you are going to be selling hardware look at Nintendo and Sony before Jim Ryan. That's the proven formula. You had some that were deluded and blinded by loyalty accepting that multiplat was the future and that MS was merely getting ahead of where the industry was headed, but at least they can finally see the light and agree with what everyone has been saying for a decade+
Despite all of that, it's clear that Microsoft's Xbox division is broken beyond repair.
More predictions? Lol its too early for these. Give it time soon N4G will be spamming these articles.
I agree with most of the lit besides number 3.
I truly think Rares starting a brand new game.
343's Halo 5 shown off
Fable Legends release date
Quantum Break shown off and release date
Forza 6 shown off and release date
Rise Of The Tombraider shown off and release date
GOW collection with Gears 4 teased yeah I can see that.
Scalebound shown off and impressing and TBA 2016
Battletaods shown off along with other re-imaginings gmes being announced. old ip's returning.
Phantom Dust alive and well along with short gameplay teaser that will impress. Trust me this game will impress.
More indie titles supported timed indies.
MS conference seems kinda predictable. I don't know what new games they could announce. Unless their new studios are ready to announce something.
MS has a good line up. I'm more excited about the re-imaginings if they planning on bringing back older games like KI and Battletoads.
Gears Collection,
And Gears 4
:)
I'll take both plz
I for one don't want a Battletoads HD remaster, I want a new Battletoads game. If they can make a new Battletoads game then maybe have the original unlock with HD graphics then I'm all for that.
I was never a huge Banjo-Kazooie fan (even though I did enjoy N&B) but I would be curious how MS and Rare would introduce this character for their new console.
I have preached not liking HD remakes or re-masters but a GOW trilogy set would be absolutely fantastic! Especially since I never got to truly dive into Part 2's multiplayer, but if they could provide all maps, all modes plus extra maps for Horde mode. Consider me all in! In fact i would rather Black Tusk take their time on Gears and just hold us over with a trilogy collection.
It would be nice to see more of QB, but I like that there's no ultra over hype for this game and the developer is taking their time and showing us just bits and pieces to keep us satisfied.
Also....lets hope that Joe Montana exclusive rumor is true. Would love if MS brought back XSN. That would work perfectly across PC and Xbox One. Basketball next...GO WARRIORS!
We know MS tried to get Insomniac to make a new Conker, so my bet is they found a developer to work on a Conker game and it will be announced.
I could see them bringing back Battletoads, but man I hate that game. I want to throw my controller just thinking about it haha. I am mostly kidding, but damn it was frustratingly hard.
I spoke about this another thread:
"MS will show off halo 5's campaign as well as a playable version in the show floor of halo 5 MP with vastly improved graphics over the beta. They will show more quantum break, which will also be playable on the show floor. they will show the first in game footage of gears and announce its a 2016 release. Forza 6 will correct all the missteps of launch game FM5. Sporting greatly improved graphics over FM5, while adding weather and day night cycles.Expect a new wheel partnership announcement too.Rares new game(s) will be shown off. I expect 2 or 3 announcements, two AAA and one smaller title. I hope one of those is jet force gemini.. Reboots of old rare franchises handled by top tier third party dev, two such announcements, I expect. And they will finally come out with 2K and talk about Joe Montana NFL (AKA NFL-2KXX, with a new name), with integrated xbox NFL app support.Crackdown will finally show its face along with its cloud powered environmental destruction. Of course tomb raider will be shown off as well, but it wont be the only third party exlusive MS have. Expect at least two such announcements. But no more than that. The focus will be first party, mostly. And few surprise announcements from MS in house teams. The 'pro' controller will be officially announced also and will carry a price tag of about 80 bucks. The X1 version of the division will be playable on the showfloor too. Ubi and MS will announce the usual timed DLC for the division as well as cross play on windows 10. COD will show up at MS conference again with exclusive timed DLC. "
I expect MS to have a very weighty conference this year. As I think about it more, I think the Joe Montana-NFL 2K game is going to make serious waves. even though EA and MS have all sorts of business together.
And I expect a very heavy EA presence at their conference. With MS being the only console with EA access and MS having the kind of money that makes EA...do certain things, like what happened with the first TitanFall...Expect Exclusive DLC/early beta playtests at the very least with anything involving MS and EA at this E3. Maybe even cross play between Xbox and PCs with /W10/EA access/Origin on certain EA games, like star wars battle front.
