Seeing as MS is bringing out the big guns this holiday season you would think it must have been a pretty difficult decision to delay their biggest exclusive. Although on the bright side, the game will be better, and the sales will be higher from the increased install base and spring being alot less packed then fall.

Same plan as last year, sell millions of consoles and watch people be amazed that it's selling so well "without out any games".

Just be excited about games and buy them when they come out. If you actually care that there's no triple A titles in the fall then there's something wrong with you.

Haha, as if that delay will knock the ps4 off the top. According to Xbox fans ps4 has had an inferior exclusive lineup and is still on top. So regardless nothing will change.

Persona 5 is all I need. That is my most anticipated title this year. I love Uncharted, but a delay to make it even better is totally cool by me. Sony has TONS of games coming out this year anyways, I have already bought too many games this year on PS3/4, Vita and 3DS.

Oh man you can just see the xbox fans coming out of the woodwork with the sllent disagrees. MS is going hard over the holidays like they always do and releasing the same three (and some of the only) first party franchises they have: Halo, Fable, Forza. Over and over. Since 2001. Quantum Break is likely getting delayed to next year. I ask you this, though: what has MS put out so far this year? Exactly. Meanwhile, Sony has dropped The Order, Bloodborne is close, Until Dawn is this summer, No Man's Sky isn't far off, and Deep Down could release in the fall. So you guys can save this delusional argument that Sony has no games while you're ahead.

Why do they need a plan? They're pretty cozy in the top spot and can easily cost through the next year without anything huge. Uncharted isnt a momentum shifter, its simply a great game among many that Sony has put out over the years. Its not used as a desperate crutch like halo is and i sure hope that this is the last one they make to fully shut down all the idiots saying its mandatory for the playstation brand to stay afloat.

Now we will see articles about PS4 being doomed all year long....again

If you guys look at it from a different perspective Xbox had Ryse, Titanfall, dead rising, Forza and Halo MCC. While ps4 had infamous, Killzone, the order and Driveclub. Even with the ps4 having less exclusives look at where it is at. It's not just about exclusives. Even if Microsoft releases the big "guns" their is still going to be a gap between them especially when uncharted comes out.

And what will Xbox have for the first 10 months of the year ? See that's the thing MS releases no games for the first 10 months and the dump them all in the fall to make the illusion of them having more exclusives.

While y'all are waiting til the holidays I'll be playing Bloodborne, MLB 15 The Show, Ratchet & Clank, and Until Dawn.

And since Xbox fans make up games like Gears collection, I'll make up some too. I bet there is a Uncharted The Master Thief Collection in the works by another studio like Sony XDEV, also The Last Guardian.

They could always release Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered, or Beyond Two Souls Remastered, or GoW: Ascension Remastered to fill the void...

Double down on 3rd party games support with exclusive DLC and bundles. Also, its time for a price drop.

I'm thinking a Star Wars partnership this year, assuming Microsofts doesn't have it already. Or maybe Black Ops 3 if that COD deal has run its course.

Sony exclusives 1st half of year, MS exclusives for second half, PC for multi-platform games like The Witcher 3.

That's without mentioning Japanese games like Persona 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Disgae 5, Deep Down, Touikoden , God Eater etc,

Plus the slew of smaller/indie titles like Helldivers, Rime, No Man's Sky , Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, WilD (Unless the fanboys are going to move the goalposts again after praising Ori and the Blind Forest.)

I'm sure they'll announce something at E3 which will take its place.

Here is the thing most of these people as well as some of you still don't understand.

Sony when it comes to the playstation make their own game plan and execute it regardless of competition.

Its been like this from the start for PS. They march to their own drum beat. Its inherited from their Japanese cultural roots. They set a plan/process then execute it to perfection.

Sony is not MS in this regard that constantly look over their shoulders and try to match or beat what competition is doing.

As such you will rarely ever see Sony move/delay games due to competition scheduling but will do so if a game needs more time.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a remastered Uncharted trilogy in the fall building momentum for U4 and collecting a few bucks on the way.

20m sales just show Sony they dont need exclusives. "Gamers just need ownership rights to a ps4 and that is all. And dont tell me 20m bought a console for exclusives so far... And dont give me the resolution crap cause them the pc elitists have every right to make fun of you :p

I love Uncharted4, but I'm also kind of relieved, I though it was the consensus that the PS4 had wayyyyyy too many games coming out this year, so one less, no matter how big a deal it is... Is not such a big problem.

I do however question the sanity of some posters here, how can we go from amazing lineup to "no games next holiday" with 1 delayed game? Someone will have to explain how the conversation took this turn....

I want more Open world RPG on my PS4.

This is a big loss to 2015. Yes the game will be better for it, and its ND so no doubt this will be another top notch and award winning game.

It's not the first time that Sony didn't pad the holiday season. they release exclusive games through out the year. A look at at previous gens would show that third party games like COD, BF, AC etc dominate the holidays.

MS releases no tripple A in the first half of the year, so XB1 only owners talk about Ori and Scream Ride... I guess Indies only count on Xbox.

Sony releases console exclusives Indies all year round, and a stream of exclusives through out the year, yet the PS4 has "no games!" or nothing for the holiday. Ridiculous double standards.

MS will win Nov and Dec in 2015 in NA and UK only... but still lose worldwide. The will also lose the next 10 months after that in 2016 in every region... That gap closure.

You can bet after the reception of Drive Club and the Order (both great games you should play, by-the-way) Sony are really thinking what's going to help them be profitable. They can be like SEGA, or they can be like Nintendo. Additionally, this isn't the first time that Naughty Dog have delayed a game. If I were Crystal Dynamics, I'd be sighing a huge sigh of relief, and whatever is set for the fall, I'd be panicing.

There's likely a lot of corporate espionage going on. Sony is strategically listening to everything. They need to stay competitive to be profitable, and unless Kaz is an idiot, he knows this.

If they release Uncharted 4 by mid March of next year, they'll be fine, and it will still look very good on quarterly and yearly sales to investors. Plus, Sony has a lot of trust in Naughty Dog and leave them alone. Sony will figure something out.

The character models are not good. The movement physics looks like it was from 10 years ago. Not impressed. And not a good example of what can, or more importantly, should be done in 2024. However, this not targeted for that, but is a hobby project of a single developer, and in this respect, it is good.

As a hobby its a great job. In my opinion though the character models are odd. Nate seem a little..."happy"

As a one man showing, it's impressive. Interesting that a level designer could put this together alone, which raises one question for me:

Did they use AI to help with this?

Fascinating concept. If anything, it made me appreciate just how skilled the Naughty Dog is with animations, etc.

If one person can make this why are game budgets so high!
