VRFocus- A lot of exciting announcements for the Gear VR smartphone-based virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) were made over the course of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) last week. But while a new version of the device is on the way to support the new Samsung Galaxy S6 handset and a ‘full consumer’ version has been teased, new content continues to arrive for the original kit this week. Three new VR experiences have hit the Oculus VR Store, though each is a free title rather than an addition to the handful of premium videogames currently available in the US.
This looks like an interesting pairing. Samsung Galaxy, in partnership with Activision and influential marketing agency Moonrock, will showcase the latest Galaxy devices at L.A. Comic Con Friday, October 4 - Sunday, October 6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
