GTA 5 Cheats writes "By now you’ve probably discovered that Rockstar is experiencing a few issues keeping GTA Online up and running with the release of the much awaited (and delayed) Heists update yesterday" and brings you an official statement from Rockstar.
GTA Online player base & revenue on PlayStation platforms are almost twice of that of PC/Xbox combined, according to a recent Rockstar leak.
PlayStation is GTA and GTA is PlayStation, they're going to kill it when GTA 6 is finally released 😏.

That might be true but you forget, all of Microsoft 1st part games are also available on Playstation and soon day one release
Replies(1)I know of people that own a PS4 exclusively to play gta5, and that’s all they play. I’m sure some of you here know of someone too. I’m surprised at how low the revenue for PC is.
I can't tell you what it's like on PS5 but it's absolutely horrific on PC. My experience is constant hackers and a game that feels like it hates you playing with your own friends too, always seems like a chore to manage to join some minigame together without somehow ending up in different server instances n shit. If I were going to bother with it I'd probably do it on console too.
My guess is also that there are modded versions of GTA online with massive communities on PC that are way better than the rockstar approved version and Rockstar isn't making money out of those.

Be glad the ''ghetto'' PS fans around the globe are spending money because they're practically single handedly keeping the gaming industry from crashing and burning. Can't say the same for MS and their miniscule green fanbase.
Yet those "PS fans" didn't save Concord, Marathon, Highguard or Helldivers 2. Hell, Helldivers 2 and Marathon are only on life support cuz of PC. lol
Actually really surprised with the PC revenue which is an abysmal 3% overall vs Console (PS and Xbox combined) at a whopping 97%. It now makes sense why Take Two/Rockstar prioritizes Consoles. Heck, they could even delay the PC port release 2 to 3 years and it wouldn't make any impact at all.
I think its due to FIVEm. A lot of GTA PC players seem to just play that so don't need the shark cards or a way to even use them for fivem.

I think it shows how shortsighted it was for Sony to let go of Evolution and not get them to make some sort of competitor (open world Driveclub?) 10 years ago.
After Driveclub's reception, hard to say it would have done well enough to compete. It's easy to dream of such a thing, but to make it happen? It's taken how long for CoD to be dethroned? And it was dethroned by Hogwart's Legacy and has gained it right back just the next year.
It’s funny to watch the only games EU and USA agree on was Minecraft and back ops 7 both regions on 6 and 7 spot respectively other than that FIFA rules EU

I would like to see a list that has both free to play and paid games together, but at least we have this.
To this day GTA5 is a top downloaded game and it makes me wonder if the industry is really ready for GTA6. I imagine almost nothing else will sell during that game's release window.
who would have believed it would have had issues?? Except everybody.. One thing Rockstar have proved this and last generation is they make amazing games just when it comes to online they are still new. They messed up GTA online at launch remember? Yet people let it go because they were rockstar.

Lol you guys are so ungrateful. Gta online was pretty stable before heists. now that heists are out tons of people are all trying to play at the same time just like any "new" multilayer get over it be patient it is "free" after all.
Rockstar pulled it off so it's been good they took their time, Online heists are very good with same production qualities as main game, I am surprised they gave it away for free. If they did another DLC with more of these heists I would happily pay for it.
