It would actually be wise for Microsoft to showcase some brand new IP's that it has been working on for a couple of years now. Alan Wake being one of them, Microsoft has decided to keep this title under wraps since X06 leading to violent speculation about this game's untimely demise. It utilizes a fresh perspective in the genre of story telling and sandbox technology, giving it an edge over a bunch of mundane third person titles in the market.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

The name "Hewson" carries a special weight for anyone who grew up during the golden age of British computing. As the son of Andrew Hewson—the man behind legendary publisher Hewson Consultants—Rob Hewson didn't just grow up playing video games; he learned to spell his name from their title screens. However, Rob didn't just rest on his family's 8-bit laurels. To celebrate Tomb Raider: Legend's 20th anniversary, the official channels have shared an early in-development gameplay demo.
is with writer of this article and trying to come up with something not even half decent.
It didn't bring up ANY good points, retard. and I'm sick of your BS STFU FOR ONCE! M$ is in no way "desperate" its just a scam by other competition to make it look like their desperate. I don't see ps3 overtaking 360 at all it just isnt gonna happen. Stellar games plus Arcade to appeal to all ages. Duke nukem Castle Crashers Geometry wars 2, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Banjo, Halo Wars, Viva Pinata, l4d. Motion control and a new xbox live 3d interface look. No no desperation at all, sorry.
As I said at the Xbox 360 Spring Showcase earlier this year:
Another big gaming event coming up and the negative press and spins etc @ Xbox360 just keep coming and coming...With games like Gears of War 2, Halo Wars, Viva Pinata 2, Banjo Kazooie, Infinte Undiscovery,Lips, time-exclusive The Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia Fable 2 and yet tba games next week@E3 etc there is NO need for desperation for Xbox360! The system will get some of the finest games this year no question about it! Add the new pricecut as well + Microsoft seems to get a grisp of the RROD problem (I have yet to see an Xbox 360 made this year experience RROD)things looks pretty good for Microsoft in my book...
That's a really lame FUD opinion piece. Is someone really so desperate that they are going to scrape the bottom of the barrel to post this? No console's future rests upon E3 2008. Microsoft's first party lineup that's been revealed so far for 2008 is pretty weak, so I hope that something great is revealed. But we have to stop this constant campaign of FUD against the different consoles.
We all share the same hobby here. It's crazy that people are trying to tear each other's guts out with these articles.
There still selling well without a huge price cut in the US after two and a half years which is something unheard of before in console terms ( most drop two hundred dollars plus in that time) and they have some of the best selling games this gen and there making money. Hardly desperation.
*A crying Shane* Stop it....it's not my fault that our buhuhuh company is this terrible. *Shane is crying his heart out* WAAAAAAAAH we just didn't know that Sony would be this hard to beat. I can also confirm that this price cut is an act of desperation.
