@juuken always talking crap... first how can you call Microsoft desperate when they drop the price of the xbox 360 only by $50 buck (in the us; where they are doing the price drop) in 2-3 years... that's like the first for any console to wait that long... and the pS3 already dropped the price by $200 and there are rumors of another... If microsoft would be desperate they would of drop the price of the xbox 360 by $200 too... how about an xbox 360 Premium for $199 and core for $149 because that's what a $200 price drop (ala Sony) would look like.. put that within 6 months (again like Sony did)...

Also, you can't call the xbox 360 2008 lineup week because the games microsoft announced are written on stone that will come out in 2008.. unlike the PS3 just like we learned recently when Kill Zone 2 was moved to next year... You see microsoft does not use the same strategy as Sony.. announce games 3-4 years before they come out in order to sell consoles... They made a mistake with 1-2 games including (alan wake)... no need for that if you have great games with guaranteed release... the list of PS3 games you speak for 2008-2009 do not even have release dates.. just like home that who knows when it will come out... Microsoft said it they have a few surprises for 2008... and probably announced a few 2009 games since we are only 6 months away...

One reason why pricedrop worked for the PS3 is because it's considered to be the cheapest bluray player on the market. Plus, Sony is pushing their console as an all in one powerhouse. It can play games, show movies, use a browser...the PS3 has a crapload of features even I haven't figured out how to use yet. Sony was in a different position than Microsoft because their console was too expensive. Microsoft is only doing this pricecut because their sales are slowing down. It only takes some basic Economics and common sense to know that.

Touche', you may have Viva Pinata, bet lets be honest, its not a hardcore game. It's underrated possibly but that's mostly due to the fact that it's a worthless game period. It doesn't reach the quality of any of the top games (with GTA IV exceptions).

The reason x360 games don't look good to PS3 fanboys is because they look at the games and say "It's not good enough to get people to buy the 360."

But, when x360 fanboys look at the games they say "That looks good, I'm gonna keep my eye on that." or "That looks good, I'm going to get that."

And, that's basically why all the PS3 fanboys only list Gears of War 2 as going to be a good game. While the 360 owners list games like Fable 2, Halo Wars, Viva2, Banjo Kazooie, Infinite Undiscovery, and the others that I don't feel like listing.

Or the reason why we might list GeoW2 as the only game for the 360 because of the reason that it's the only game anyone ever talks about? You don't talk about Banjo 2, Viva 2, etc.. You talk about Halo & Gears, that's it. Sure there's other good games but when you bring in the numbers the only ones that generate any real numbers are Halo 3/GeoW/GTA4/CoD4 (which we can just knock off the last two considering they're multiplat). As far as Viva 2, that's my point. It's not a hardcore game, so why put a non-hardcore game on a non-hardcore system? That's your demographic isn't it? Doesn't make sense, it wont sell. I'm sure Viva is the same kind of game as SSHD -- no one really pays attention to it but it packs a lot of fun.
