Crytek today released two new trailers showing off the versatility and power of CRYENGINE; their all-in-one game development software.

"It is gonna be a long technical road" to update Hunt's version of CryEngine.
If anyone can upgrade the engine then Crytek can. Good news anyway. Hunt looks pretty awesome anyway, but with UE5 a thing now Cryengine beginning to look dated perhaps?

LifelessTapir has released a free game in which he basically recreated the entire Isla Nublar island from Jurassic Park in CRYENGINE.
It's Cryengine free you say? Great news, sick of all that cryengine in my dinosaur games.

Crytek has announced that CRYENGINE 5.6 is available now for all game developers. According to the team, this major new release includes over 1,000 changes to the engine.
We need a Ryse 2 seeing how the 1st was done with incomplete SDK tools
It looks fantastic but it needs to be more accessible. CryEngine is nowhere near as dev-friendly as Unity or even UE4. It lacks support and it lacks a community. Right now it doesn't feel like a true contender in the game engines race, especially since UE4 can look this good, too.
I'm betting it all on Source 2
Valve is our saviour
That Spartan helmet/nanosuit cross over made me chuckle. Crytek definitely has some beautiful possibilities.
