VRFocus- Previously VRFocus has reported on Oculus VR’s new game jam running from the 13th April to the 11th May 2015. The mobile virtual reality (VR) game jam aims to secure content for Samsung’s Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD) made in conjunction with Oculus VR. At Unity’s session at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) today, Palmer Luckey came on stage to reveal that those who are using Unity software in the Game Jam will receive a bonus of $50 USD to spend on Unity assets. This news came following the announcement of Unity 5.
Unreal Engine VR is a new mod tool that brings VR support to tens of thousands of Unreal Engine titles and for free.
For a few games it's pretty easy. Just need to apply the mod and settings. For most of them of course you need tinker yourself with settings at the moment but it's not that hard (apparently).
It's as easy or complex as you want, most of the big games like Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart, etc, , hundreds of them (check flatscreen to vr discord) have some profiles already made, so you just load them and it automatically sets the best settings others modders have already found, so it's a matter of minutes, but of course you can tinker for hours to make it suit your needs.
Praydog is amazing..not only made a lot of modern Resident Evil games to work in VR, now its Unreal engine games...definitely a talented guy
Many retro game revivals have happened over the course of the last few years. The best ones are able to make you feel as if you are playing through those original rose-colored glasses. Companies like Dotemu have done a great job with recent releases like Streets of Rage 4, Windjammers, and the upcoming Ninja Turtles hack and slash, Shredder’s Revenge. By incorporating a slick polish and drawing style, the old pixel based games feel fresh and new. Ivanovich Games is doing the same with classic shooter games by injecting a heavy dose of VR and all it’s benefits through 1976: Back to Midway and now it’s sequel: 2076: Midway Multiverse.
Windows Report Says: "Hubris is an upcoming VR action-adventure game with stunning graphic quality which is set in an all-new Sci-Fi universe including a mini-series called Terra-former. It's currently in development by Cyborn, a Belgian studio with years of experience in 3D animation."
