Polygon:
Fourteen years after putting the ninth issue of comic book Battle Chasers to bed, Joe Madureira is pulling it out of retirement. And he's bringing it back as both a comic and a game.
In the late '90s, Madureira created the hardcore favorite comic series, known for its distinctive art and inconsistent schedule. As the years went on, the series faded away and Madureira shifted to a career in games, co-founding developer Vigil and overseeing the Darksiders action series.
Now Madureira and Vigil co-founder Ryan Stefanelli are digging into Madureira's past for their new company, Airship Syndicate.

Airship Syndicate has announced they are delisting Wayfinder as they work on a relaunch for the title, here is everything you need to know!
"There will be major changes, and major improvements, but we have no plans for it to disappear like so many online-only games we’ve all played and loved. We think Wayfinder can be something special, and be around to play forever"
I hope this means they'll add an offline-mode or have an end-of-support plan for the game to continue to be playable, like Gran Turismo Sport and not like The Crew.

Wccftech talked with legendary comic book artist and game designer Joe Madureira and AJ LaSaracina from Airship Syndicate about the MMO Wayfinder.
Digital Extremes has announced a new partnership with Airship Syndicate (Battle Chasers, Darksiders) for a new F2P, character-based, third-person action game.
Always loved Joe Madureira 's style even if it was more on the cartoony side when he was at Marvel. But when he's on his own book or drawing mechs he really shines.
Wish we got a Darksiders 3 but will gladly check this out. Maybe a crossover will happen in the future.
