pcworld.com writes "Okay everyone, pack your bags and cram into my DeLorean, let's take a little trip down memory lane circa 1999. That's the year Squaresoft unleashed Final Fantasy VIII for the original PlayStation on North America, a console RPG that went on to sell six million units worldwide in less than a dozen months, eventually outpacing even the great and powerful (and to this day better-remembered) Final Fantasy VII. There was even a Windows version with smoothed-over 3D graphics released in early 2000.
And somehow, I totally missed it."

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
The game had it's faults.
But it is still my number 1 game of all time.
I believe I hold it so high that no game, no matter how good, will ever be able to beet it.
This is where I started to hate the series. I wasn't a huge, huge fan of FF7 but I loved FF and FF6. 8 came and just, blah and meh and then 9 came and really took me away. I love part 9 and it is easily the best in the entire series.
The atmosphere and the story was spot on. It was a fantasy and it was in a fantasy world and it had the characters to back it up.
i didn't like the whole draw magic thing. that was the only problem i had with the game.
the fact FF8 is more complex is what makes it the better game..
My favorite final fantasy and possibly JRPG.
