I just want it to do one thing, have just a slim amount of bugginess

WildArmed4102d ago

But isn't that exactly what it will do better than everyone else?
Le Bugginess.

OrangePowerz4102d ago

Not if previous Bethesda games are anything to go by. Fallout 3 was full of bugs and not just those big mutated ones in the game you had to kill and Skyrim had the game breaking PS3 bug among some other nasty ones with crashing and problems to complete quests.

rhap4102d ago

Cool how people know this much about a game that wasn't even announced.

gangsta_red4102d ago

Bethesda knows that this is the game everyone has been impatiently waiting for. If Fallout 4 happens there will be no doubt that these guys will pour not only heart and soul but virgin blood into this game to make it the very pinnacle of the term epic.

I hate to get my hopes up for E3 and expect them to announce Fallout 4...but I'm going to do just that.

ExPresident4102d ago

I'm sure they poured everything they could into Fallout 3 to and look how bugged that was. All I'm saying is I don't think any Dev goes into a game thinking "lets do this half assed".

gangsta_red4101d ago

It was one of the best buggy game I played. If they can keep that going I'll still be a fan.

gamerfan09094102d ago

I like Bethesda, but Rockstar are kings at building open worlds with deep detail. I don't think they need to learn anything from fallout.

Tex1174102d ago

They really aren't comparable games.

One is an First person RPG, the other is an open world sandbox.

annoyedgamer4102d ago (Edited 4102d ago )

Play STALKER and get back top me on that. Oh and do not forget about the Witcher 3

Heyxyz4102d ago

I want the shooting to be better. I hated that the only time you'd actually use free shooting was when you were waiting for your V.A.T.S points to restore. The shooting was that bad.

jznrpg4102d ago (Edited 4102d ago )

It isnt a shooter its a rpg with shooting elements. There is enough shooters out there, keep Fallout more rpg .

Heyxyz4102d ago

I agree that Fallout should be an RPG first, but just because it is an RPG first doesn't mean we can't have good shooting. RPGs are about choice, and the choice to use V.A.T.S or real time shooting can only add to the experience.

Tex1174102d ago

VATS was IMO a clever way to get over terrible shooting mechanics.

Which is fine. I don't play Fallout for gunplay.

Heyxyz4102d ago

I don't think most people (including myself) play Fallout for gunplay either, but hey, what can it hurt to have better gunplay?

V.A.T.S was pretty clever, It not only gave Fallout 3 and NV a connection to the earlier Fallouts, but it also separated Fallout (even more) from other WRPGs.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot184d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder184d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain184d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
