After the technical glitches and broken promises that plagued the video games of the past year, Darkest Dungeon feels like the antidote to all of that. It also promises a great start to the rest of the year, being one of the best games I’ve played this year and it’s not even finished.
Darkest Dungeon is a simple side scrolling turn-based RPG with an incredible amount of depth in its character system made by Red Hook studios. It was successfully Kickstarted back in March 14th 2014 and has now crept its way onto Steam Early Access. I am one of those cynical people who criticises the more harm than good that systems like Kickstarter and Early Access do to this industry, so naturally I was sceptical when a friend told me to check out this game. The sucker I am though, after checking out the website I dropped the £14.99 to get the game.
"The Seville-based (Spain) indie games developer QUICKFIRE GAMES are today very proud and happy to announce that their the tactical rpg “Prelude Dark Pain“, is now fully funded via Kickstarter." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
"Darkest Dungeon creator Red Hook Studios is happy to announce that a new FREE game mode for "Darkest Dungeon II", Kingdoms, along with its first of three adventure modules Hunger of the Beast Clan, and their next paid DLC, Inhuman Bondage ($9.99 / 9,75 € / £8.50), released today for PC and Mac, with consoles set to follow soon." - Red Hook Studios.

If it was cheaper, like 5 pounds maybe i would consider getting it
