Developer Hints at PS4 Custom Wallpapers Coming with Future System Update;Releases Wallpaper for PS4

One of the most requested features for the PS4 is the ability to set a custom wallpaper besides the themes provided by Sony, and Zombie Army Trilogy developer Rebellion might know about it something that gamers don't, or at least that's what the game's official website seems to be indicating.

i still want some first party theme's, not the crap that they have showed up the last 3 weeks.

JoGam4128d ago (Edited 4128d ago )

Better than nothing. I found a couple nice themes in the store. I just wish they had a theme preview for all and not just some.

Yes! Currently rocking the retro 20th anny theme. I love me some dynamic themes.

i want updates on ps4,MS get them every month and we getting jack all on ps4.

badz1494128d ago

what? what kind of updates that MS gives that have made you crave this much for updates on the PS4 too? aside from DLNA, which is of course, the most requested feature at this point in time and proper a MP3 player not just from USB sticks like what it currently has, what else is there?

seriously, this MS has more updates things portrayed as a "good thing" should just stop because the bashing the PS3 received last gen for frequent FW updates are still ringing asking for compensation from this gen!

Khronikos4128d ago (Edited 4128d ago )

Yo man I agree. What and the hell is left but to get DLNA in, some small features like folders, and then MP3 lol? They should be optimizing and freeing RAM now!

I sure hope the next update is going to make everything a little faster for devs! I don't even care about features anymore. I just want the devs with the most efficient program possible.

Personally, I don't use DLNA. Don't care about it, certainly not on my PS4. MP3 I want only for The Show. Need nothing more as I listen to FLAC. So there ya go. No idea what these people want but more speed and freedom for devs.

Could be awesome, be nice if can add custom music to play with the wallpaper.

Finally!!! News about PS4 updates ^_^ I'm hoping they fix the Text Chat on PS4. I can't tell when a friend has texted me unless I go all the way back into the Party chat. I like to game and text like I do on PS3.
I just want the messages to pop up on the TV screen.

KwietStorm_BLM4128d ago

I didn't even know people used that. Why not just talk?

StormLegend4128d ago

I hate talking through the mic!! So does my friends. We like to invite a lot of our friends and text each other while we game.

Using a mic you gotta here your friends laughing, yelling and calling you all kinds of names.

I would rather text them anyday over talking to them.

@Travis3708

I don't really know about your preference but if you really love to text so much while gaming, I suggest you install the PS app on your smartphone and text msg from there.

I use it all the time when I'm not using my headset and I think it's better too because I don't have to go all the way back to the msg inbox and anyone could probably type way faster on a phone than using the controller. the interaction is seemless and you never have to go back and forth between your game screen and the inbox on your tv.

Zombies and World War II Gaming: What’s the Link?

World War II zombie games have been on an uptick for years, but the link between the supernatural and Nazis may not be so fantastical.

The world's hiding some exceedingly deep secrets that are bound to pop up sooner or later.

It was pretty decent, slightly repetitive if you played for over an hour. Zombie Army 4 fixed that with more variety, better level and enemy design, it's an absolute blast!

Zombie Army Trilogy Review (The Gamers Lounge)

Who doesnt like games that revolve around Zombies? Zombie Army Trilogy takes the best part of the Sniper Elite and adds the undead. This means a fancy bullet cam which is deeply satisfying. The game has plenty to offer those who want to try the co-op.
