I had the privilege to be a part of more than a few Alpha/Beta tests over the last few years and I’ve realized we as a people have an issue with how we view Beta programs. Talking to the people across the various groups I was in, something dawned on me that has been happening for a while but I never really payed much attention to. Someone within my testing phase said “I’m only here to try the game out. It seems OK, but I’m not sure it’s worth $60.”

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
No, I can't even beta...
I've been in a few betas or alphas and I always feel like the devs never listen to your input and just look at their data. Sometimes its because the beta was never meant to change the game since it was already a completed project, they just want to stress test. But they almost never tell you that.
I pretty much play it like a demo, because different companies ship different levels of game and call it "beta". Some of these titles are missing components entirely, yet call it a beta, when that's an Alpha.
I thought the new beta was pre-alpha. I'm so confused.
How do I start beta testing?
I wanted to try Evolve before getting it! I like the fact that its something different! Besides that I want to start beta testing period!
