Metal Gear Solid series fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date, but Hideo Kojima and Konami Productions are still keeping their cards close to their chest with respect to exact date announcement and new details. The only official words we have from Konami on The Phantom Pain release date is that "the announcement is coming soon". There is no second opinion that this wait is getting longer and longer, and painful for Metal Gear Solid series fans.

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Over ten years after its release, does Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain still impress? Jump Dash Roll returns to Snake's world for this Brutal Backlog.
I don’t think I’ve ever quite experienced an unfinished game that was slapped together with duct tape and construction paper to be sold as a finished product, basically making you replay the same missions and include a story that clearly was missing so much of the plot, like I did with this game.
I’m actually shocked that it doesn’t get calls out for this more.

Today, Konami announced its financial results for the first nine months of fiscal year 2026, between April 2025 and December 2025.
What happens when you make good games, keep it up konami, you've been doing great. Please do a AAA Castlevania too, or heck just start off remaking/remastering old games to play it safe.
Ironic. Also I guess the whole "fk Konami" phase is over now that they're selling remakes of already great games. People are easy to please, just rattle pretty graphics them.
Woah, making good games that people want to play pays off?
Someone tell Ubisoft and Square-enix!
I want to be a playtester so bad. They get to enjoy this masterpiece early :( . Come on Kojima troll san, we cant wait.
If I had to guess I'd say we get a release date announcement at E3 and the game will be out in October at the earliest. I can't imagine a game this big will have a short debugging time, and I'm pretty much resigned to every summer being a barren wasteland for anticipated game releases.
If it's delayed until 2016, I wouldn't be surprised given MGS 4's three year delay from its '05 debut. That said, 2015 needs a great stealth-action game more than ever as long as we can't necessarily count on Assassin's Creed anymore.
Hmm.. my guess is between March and June. I'm starting to lose my hype for this game. 😓
just cut out MG online and save it for a later date that way we can get the campaign much faster. When the MP is done then owners of the game get a free download for the MGO and there you go
