And by the time we have tons of games with Trophies, you will go "Well the 360 has more!" still. As if that makes playing a console with dvd's and a 90% failure rate more appealing.

For most people that buy the 360, they buy the basic one. Then add all the add ons like its a Sega Genesis.

You forget one thing about PS3 owners. Most of us are adults that can splurge on a better quality product and 3 dollar cables from www.monoprice.com or hell.. Its "I want to buy a game system with non multiplat PC 'exclusives', one that doesn't have a 95% failure rate, and one that has free online to play the multiplayer games" And there is only one answer for that. And it aint the Xbreak150.

@Blademask - You don't need an extra HDD for the 360 since you don't have to install games on it. Most people buy the Premium edition so you are wrong. Even if you buy the Arcade, buying an extra HDD still makes it a whole lot cheaper than buying the cheapest version of the PS3, without rumble, HD cables and a bigger HDD.

It's funny how you can only back up your arguments with bias opinions and no facts. You say we have to wait for the PS3 to get better. Wait for it to get games. You've said this since 2006. I didn't buy my console to sit and wait.

My 360 works fine, so I can't identify with the RROD talk.

I think it has a weak games library compared to the 360. I like RPG's and the PS3 has almost none. I do like MGS4, but that's about the only PS3 game that excites me, and that's not enough. I love GTA IV and I want to be able to play the exclusive contetn when it comes out, as silly as it may sound to you. It's controller feels old and not as ergonomic and robust as the 360 controller. I also don't like the fact that you have to patch and install EVERYTHING on the PS3. It feels more like a computer than a console. You even have to install demos. I don't buy movies so I would have no use for Blu-Ray.

It's funny how you post your one-dimensional view of the consoles then go mental just because someone like me disagrees.

But um...Jenzo, you can get all of that on the PS3 for one price. Why should I, as a consumer have to spend more money for a separate player for my console if I want to play movies when I could get a PS3? The PS3 not only has a healthy collection of games, it can also play some amazing bluray movies as well.

And you know what only interests me on the 360? Ninja Gaiden 2, Lost Odyssey, and now Splinter Cell because it looks interesting. When I do get a 360...it's only for those three games. The PS3 seems to offer more these days. The PS2 is still going strong so I can play all my PS2 games on my PS3 and the PS3 collection keeps growing. '

If you're into buying movies I'm sure the PS3 is a great choice. I didn't pass it as a Blu-Ray player, it's just not a feature that would be of any use for me. I really don't care what games you like and don't like and if you are interested in the 360 or not. Ninja Gaiden 2 is not anything I would buy either, but overall I prefer the games that are on offer and are coming out for the 360. That's why I bought it. For the games.

I also play a lot of multiplat titles, and since most of them are superior on the 360 and offer both achievements, rumble, real voice chat and game invite features etc I wouldn't want to trade it for a lesser experience anytime soon.

But you'll know the truth, even if the ps3 is not cheaper it is waaaaaaayyyyyy closer then $250 more then the 360!

Last thing: I cant ever seem to get any 360 fan to list all these "GREAT" games that the 360 has that the ps3 doesn't. Maybe you can show me this list of all these "GREAT" games. The THREE isn't lacking in the game department. 360 has maybe 3AAA games that can't be played on the THREE,and the THREE has 1AAA game that can't be played on the 360. For one, I got my HDMI cable V.1.3 CAT-2 certified for 15 dollars off of monoprice.com. I got my HDD off newegg, and that was under a hundred bucks. I bought my Dualshock 3 from a trusted seller for less than the retail value as well.

Paying 50 dollars for an HDMI cable is a blatant ripoff. Nobody should ever pay more than 20-25 dollars for the top-quality stuff.

Hold on hold on let me get in this. So jenzo, what you say on post 2.7 you have reasons as to why the 360 is better then the ps3. Well here is mine. First, blu-ray disc not do it hold movies ported to blu-ray discs, but with 50 GBS of space game developers got more space to add in lil details that feel is neccassary to the game like mgs4, Hideo Kojima used up the whole disc space which lets us know that he had alot on his mind in which he needed a spacey disc to work instead of that limited disc space dvd9. Next built in wifi i mean come on even the wii has built in wifi. Next is firmware updates with these sony is able to make our ps3 experience reach even newer hieghts. Trophies first i no what you're going to say it only supports one game, but developers are finding a way to add in a way on how to get each trophy so we gotta wait for it no need to rush i mean look what happen to the 360 i mean you may not have rrod but 33% failure-16% failure that's still bad and best of all Free online service with dedicated servers. Nothing says it better than that. Like they the best things in life are free.

Nix, sounds similar to the issue I had. My machine stopped reading Blu-Ray disks during MGS4, DVD's were fine but no games or hi-def movies wanted to play. I phoned Sony (machine was bought on Ebay, no reciept) and they had me a new machine (yes 60gb) in 2 days. I bought a 320gb drive for when it arrived. Just phone Sony, if your dealings with them was anything like mine you'll be very happily surprised.

If you've backed everything up, I'd advise just going for the new drive, it's not worth updating the old one if you're gonna be ripping it out anyway. Try and do a backup if you can, failing that just use a usb memory stick to get your save data. All saves worked perfectly for me except DMC4 online scores/achievements.
