GameSpy writes: "'George Lucas' sci-fi soap opera is about to let videogamers do something that they've lusted after for nearly 30 years: kill various intergalactic beings as Darth Vader. The Force Unleashed sports arguably one of the coolest opening levels of any game in recent times. The very fact that LucasArts gives you the chance to play as one of the most infamous villains ever is going to draw in "Star Wars" fans like moths to a rather large bonfire. But TFU is much more than this opening scene. It will bridge the gap between "Episode III" and "Episode IV" by telling the tale of Vader's new apprentice, and it's this fact that's got us really excited.
Picking up the joypad for the first time, we were thrown headlong into the opening level, where we had to face off against hordes of angry Wookies using Vader's awesome selection of force powers. If we were on the fence about choosing Light over Dark before, then we'd choose the path of tyranny and evil every time from here on in. Vader is able to casually swagger along (this guy doesn't need to run for anyone) performing a variety of moves that rip apart the good guys. His force push can be used to blast enemies off their feet, and indeed off cliffs and bridges. The force grab can be used to levitate massive heavy objects like boulders into the air before spewing them forward as giant unstoppable projectiles, whereas the force choke lets you wring the necks of whomever is standing too close for their own good."

+Vader power trip is fun

Iffy:
-Will the gameplay remain fresh all the way through until the end?

force unleashed is a great game. Thankfully the 360 version is bc on the XBO/Series. It looks and plays even better than on original hardware.

I am not a Star Wars fan but I enjoyed the Force Unleashed and the sequel. Shadows of the Empire was another Star Wars game I also enjoyed.
i might be wrong here, but you could play as Vader in the Star Wars strategy game where you took over the planets. Then name escapes me, I think it was galactic battle grounds or something along those lines.
