95% of dlc is overpriced and is sometimes even found on the disc, which isn't even "downloadable". For the most part it's a racket. My hat's off to the Witcher devs for offering so mch for free.
I say unlocks and New Game+ for single player and fighting games while expansions for multiplayer heavy titles.
