Clocktower Creator Returns with Project Scissors : NightCry - Cliqist

Marcus Estrada writes: "Horror games have been around for years now, but for the longest time some of the original concepts of a horror game were effectively lost. No longer were players powerless and instead received tons of weapons which all but diffused any real terror of the situation. Clock Tower, one of my personal favorite series' out there, kept with the classic concept of horror where you were nearly powerless. Running and hiding were your best tactics. Project Scissors was announced as the codename for the next game in the series and drew tons of excitement from fans. However, it seems that none of us were able to predict the team would utilize Kickstarter for their project."

NightCry (PSV) Review | VGChartz

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "NightCry almost reaches “so bad it’s good” status, but veers on the side of frustrating a little too often. Combined with its short length (around 4 or so hours to see the first ending) and myriad of technical faults on Vita, it's one you'll probably want to think about before buying.

If you’re particularly interested in an old-fashioned horror title it might be exactly what you’re after. I certainly didn’t have a bad time with it, but it’s not something I can recommend unless you’re willing to put up with a massive amount of jank for an experience that definitely isn’t the best on the market."
