VRFocus - Next week is a big week for Polish videogame developer Techland. The team will launch one of the first big releases of 2015 in first-person action title, Dying Light. That said there’s still plenty of work to be done as last year the developer announced its intentions to deliver a virtual reality (VR) version of the title later down the line. Recently VRFocus spoke to Techland’s Maciej Binkowski about that eventual release.

Dying Light: The Beast is Steam Deck verified, Techland announced today!

Techland: “Game development is never a straight line, and sometimes fresh approaches are necessary to make great games. What’s important here is that none of the reported changes have resulted in staff reductions. Developers were moved to other projects and are working on a number of games in our pipeline.
Our primary focus right now is to release Dying Light: The Beast for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. After the launch of Dying Light: The Beast, we will share more about future titles in due time.”
The Retouched update for Dying Light that improves graphical features has been released; here's how it compares with the Enhanced Edition.
I remember playing this for the first time on the PS4 and it knocking me sick and hurting my eyes due to the horrible motion blur and FPS.
Played it a lot on pc a year later. Then again on ps5 once they dropped the 60fps update. I'll be giving it another go. Mad how they have kept updating this game for 10 years.
