"Never Alone is a game that has had me excited since I first heard about it. The inaugural project of Upper One Games, a studio formed by the Inupiat tribe of Alaska, Never Alone was designed as a way to share and preserve the culture and oral history of the tribe. The game was created in close collaboration with elders and historians, and Inupiaq voices are clearly forefront in Never Alone's presentation from start to finish."

Starting today, Beyond Blue and Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) are free at Epic Games Store. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep.

As Never Alone brings its beautiful storytelling and immersive gameplay to Nintendo Switch, there are hints of a sequel being in development. Hell, there’s even a teaser for Never Alone 2 inside the port’s launch trailer.
The 1st game was fantastic.

1) hints? you mean the Devs telling you at the end of the trailer 2nd game is in pre production, that's not a hint ffs lol.
2) a teaser is NOT a number 2 at the end lol.
That would be awesome. I live in Alaska so it's always nice to see it talked about or shown in games.

E-Line Media and the Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) announced today that the indie game Never Alone is featured in the Smithsonian Institution’s upcoming Futures Exhibition.
I was playing this the other night (Xbone) and got all the way to the 2 to last chapter and decided to take a break. When I came back to play my save data said I I only beat up to chapter 4. Frustrating to say the least, decent game tho.
Very good game for people who don't always have to play AAA titles. I'd agree with a 9/10. I'm not fussy though.
What a remarkable experience. I'd have to admit that I cried, like, 3 times playing this. So moving. I'm glad that I'm not alone in loving this.
great game and beautiful tale
