I just played the PS4 beta and left disappointed.

Just curious as to how other's gameplay experience is...

Every match(for me) consists of us hunters finding the monster within a minute and just continually following him until we bring him down for good. The hunters are just as fast which makes it completely unbalanced.

It's impossible to "Evolve" when the hunters are constantly shooting at your back and you can't get away from them cause there's four of them and one of you. Which makes it even worst is they can follow you wherever you go and you seem to move so dang slow, at least as the monster playable in the beta.
I want to like Evolve, but my final evaluation is that it's too unbalanced to want to play.
Perhaps the single player will feel more in tact, let's hope so.

Evolve is a really good game when played as a team but it relies heavily on that fact. I can't see it really doing to great because its not like a lot of other multiplayer games where you can get by on your own or has a decent campaign to compliment it. Its a shame really because it has some great elements but it won't have mass appeal because it just don't have the content it probably needs.

Roll on Left 4 Dead 3 I say.

Very disappointed with the beta. Very repetitive and lacking content. Also a bit clunky. I can forgive some of that because it's a beta but I just can't see this being good after playing the beta.

I'd just like to put a point across about Evolve, it is more of a hardcore team based game, I think its actually very balanced but it requires communication and tactics. I find it to be very fun and engaging. Its never going to sell a load just because it isn't a casual type of game. I actually like the fact that they have clearly made a hardcore game, I'm also sad at the same time because people don't seem to want games that require multiple skills to succeed. I'm really torn on whether to buy it because most of my online mates just won't give it a chance.

Too bad, thought this was going to be a hit, it is just a beta though.

how can you download the beta when its not even on the ps store? the code they gave me doesn't work, and i guess that's the only way i could have downloaded the game.

I feel like you could make a really good story off this setting.

Evolve got boring in 20 minutes.

I notice they said "we got the idea from the tank in the L4D games"....as great as that was, the only reason that worked so well is because you were on a very short timer to do as much damage as possible before you resumed as your normal infected character. Running was not an option!

Glad I am not the only one. I played the beta and found the game to be nothing special. Playing as a beast was kinda fun thats it. The hunters gameplay was a total bore however. I will be skipping this game.

I don't understand some people. The beta has been great fun for me something different than the usual repeated stuff we get nowadays. My fear is if we don't get behind games like this then were gonna be stuck with the same repeated shite everyone and their dogs sick of.
I can understand if u have only gave it a couple of goes and not gave it a chance, I found personally it's better when uve had a good long stint as the monster and each of the classes and learn what each one is for. If people are not willing to at least give new ip a chance then I'm worried where gaming in General is going...

First game was a disaster. Full price release with more paid DLC than actual content. They dropped support so fast too. One of the biggest let downs in modern gaming.
