Unlike Microsoft, Sony is more secretive regarding its technology updates for the PlayStation 4.

Alex Golebiowski of Pixelnauts is thrilled about what next gen hardware is looking to offer.
A lot excitement around SSD.
Yet, i feel it has more to do with optimization and not just bigger and better HW to solve their issues.
Im almost certain the PS4 still has a lot of untapped potential if the devs would spend more time developing around the HW itself instead of treating it like a PC.
I give it two years tops before devs expand the size of their games or the size of the in game worlds and negate any benefit of the SSD. They all want you playing their game longer (being engaged in it) so they make everything bigger and bigger like Ubisoft did with AC Odyssey.

You may be accumulating a lot of gift cards over the holidays. Here’s how to spend them.

BagoGames: How many times have you picked up a cheap (or even free) game on the PSN store, only to play it for a brief while and never open again? Don’t get me wrong, PlayStation has had some fantastic Indie support lately, and there are tons of them well worth playing. There are even more that fall flat within a day or two, if not instantly. Lost Orbit is not one of those flops. Lost Orbit asks you for the commitment of a mobile game; You can marathon through it, or play it out in small satisfying chunks, but it packs the polished aesthetic and engaging story of AAA standards.
I was not expecting this game to score so well! Sony is on a roll at the moment.
All these cool little games. Indie is where it is at right now. Makes me want to get a PS4. Probably check it out on Steam. :)
I can't wait to see what Naughty Dog does with the PS4 this generation
Naughty Dog made a great comment about game development a couple of years ago, it never stops being relevant;

I mean this is self evident, come on ps3 gave us games like GOW3, Ucncharted 2 and 3, TLOU and many years later in their console life. People say that this gen isnt a big jump! yeah right look at games like Drive Club, Ryse, Infamous, BF4, Killzone, etc.... visually in the first year thats crazy! imagine 4 years from now when devs hit their stride on this architecture!
