Katie Joell from The Gamerscore Whores writes "As you are clearly aware, The Gamerscore Whores love the Xbox One. But there has been a lingering annoyance that has been present since the console launched. Back when the Xbox One launched in November 2013, the console did not support trials for Xbox Arcade games. I distinctly remember this being a frustration as some of the smaller based titles such as Loco Cycle had us pondering what the game was all about. Sure, Microsoft’s Upload clip sharing facility could have given us a taste for the game, but there is nothing quite like testing it out for yourself."

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

LucasArts gave Jango Fett his own game in 2002, and it pulled Star Wars into a much dirtier, rougher, and more interesting corner of the galaxy.

FuRuy has opened a Twitter account called “Project Alice” teasing a new game announcement on April 25 at 20:30 JST.
The developers would rather the gamer paid for the privilege of playing the masterpiece that is Lococycle or the pinnacle of fighting games that is The Fighter Within. /s
If a trial was offered for these games, then very few would go on to buy them, huh?
I think this a multi-issue
Devs always complain that doing demo/trials, hamper development, because they have to waisted time cutting out a slice slice of them ame for us to try.
Another complaint is, Devs feel that it's $$$ and resources being wasted, because they have to dedicate a team to properly get a demo ready.
Another issue is, some games flat out suck and the developer knows when their game sucks and theirs no hope for it as well. So they try to hide it, and put strict rules on what can be shown/played.
The try button was something that i loved about the 360, as well. About 20-25 out of the 80+ or so digital games I own on the 360 was because of "Try it" button.
Because the devs know their games are rehashed/remastered rubbish that if we got to try b4 we buy, wouldnt sell at all.
Both consoles so far imo just arnt the massive upgrade that was 360/ps3,and imho i'm we'll underwhelmed.
because they'd rather have buy before you try than try before you buy maybe.
Watch pretty much any launch trailer, they do not represent the final product very well, the launch trailer is what they want you to see just before you press the buy button, not a demo of the actual game.
