The one in xbox one was suppose to mean one device for all your entertainment needs. Not defending the name but thats why its called that. If Phil was in charge during that time it would have a much cooler name

If they named it the 720....the resolution jokes would have been too easy.

Here's the thing..
While that may have made sense to Microsoft, it doesn't make sense to the average consumer who doesn't follow video game news that closely.

It's bad for the product to confuse the consumers. Wii U had the same problem

Recently I was talking to my friend (non gamer) about how I like the 360s controller more than the Xbox Ones, and he thought I was talking about the OG Xbox.

So for casuals/non gamers some of these might be confusing, but for any somewhat dedicated gamer, the names are a non issue.

Pretty bad article. The PSP Go bit was the only part the guy didn't feel the need to throw around cuss words in. You shouldn't be a writer if you can't come up with better words than the f word to convey your point.

I only use a Steam Deck OLED for gaming so I suppose I'm apart of those numbers, lol

Meh.. I and many others still need Windows for plenty of other apps that I like to use as a hobby, no chance I would ever ditch it unless a direct replacement comes along.

If talking gaming only, maybe? It's not for me.

Fake news. Just another negative article about microsoft. Windows owns the PC and PC game market.
