Grand Theft Auto VI is still a dream at the moment when the speculated release date is said to be sometime in 2016 or 2017. All I want is better free aim (GTA has the STIFFEST free aim). I absolutely despise the fact that R* pretty much designs the game with Auto-aim in mind. GTA is a 17+ game, so we shouldn't be encouraged to use Auto aim like were 12. Also remove Auto-aim from online. I hate how you can only find matches if you have auto aim enabled.
The shooting is the best yet in a GTA game. And its still crap.
The free aim is too inaccurate I cant get the sensitivities the way I want them. The deadspot is way too big from pushing the stick to seeing the camera move. Im forced to use the assisted aim which isnt assisted but just an autosnap lock on and assists far too much. Theres no good middle ground.
The cover system is also horrible and sticky, theres no flow to the shooting gameplay so it turns into a whack a mole pop and shoot fest.
The stealth is also terrible. The camera controls just dont allow you to walk in one direction while looking in another without the camera trying to snap back over your shoulder. The crouch is a semi crouch and too slow and combined with the ordinary cover system stealth is just not an option I ever tried to use much because it wasnt effective at all, and I'm a guy that tries to go stealth every chance I get.
Say what you like about Watchdogs, (yes, I know, boooooo, they lied to us,downgrade, youre evil for enjoying that game) but it does shooting, cover and stealth better than any other open world 3rd person game, and comparable to any other 3rd person shooters. In fact it felt like I was playing a sandbox Splinter Cell, which was not a bad thing for me.
Its a shame about GTAs shooting mechanics because after Max Payne 3 I really though thats what it was going to feel like, but its just to clunky.
Still a great game, I love it. Thats why I'd like to see these lingering faults finally corrected.
After thinking it over I have realized how much better GT4 online was which had none of this playlist stuff and was easy to get into a game. The single player was decent too ;)
Like to see them turn down the realism in some areas. Do I really need to lie on the ground for what feels like ages in pain when Im jumping out of moving vehicle or after being hit by a car??? No as soon as I stop rolling let me get back up. It takes the fun out of the game when your character is lying down while being shot at, you die and have to restart.
Shooting and cover system are stiff and could use some work. They need to look at what made Max Payne 3, Uncharted and Gears of War so much fun during gun battles.
Multiplayer health system is just idiotic. Higher levels have more health so the lower levels better off just try to escape since the game has auto aim. you dont stand a chance in gun fights. Gun fights should be decided by skill and firepower not which level you are.
Idk about the other systems but multilayer stability is still an issue on the Xbox One. One day everything works fine, you can join friends and play with them all night then there are days where you cant even join a game. It could be an issue on Microsoft end cuz it sure as hell aint cuz of me
I just wish you wouldnt have to keep pushing x, a million times to run fast. If theres a way to change it let me know im new to this
