Leaked source tells me that it's going to be called Halo 4: Cooking Master Chef, in which you score by making halo burgers and halo diet coke.

So basically this is how microsoft e3 is going to be like. A new qimmick wii controller, halo 4, new xbox interface and a price cut. meh... nothing to get reallyu excited about here people lets move along.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures. It looks as if Microsoft is clearly aware of the death of their console, in an attempt to rejuvinate life back into XBox 360, they have called on the only title that has an identity attached to the console, Halo.

Bungie has also freed themselves from the tyranny that Microsoft has placed on them. With Xbox 360 reaching it's maximum combined with their poor hardware, it's almost given that Halo 4 will be coming to PLAYSTATION®3, maybe even exclusively.

When this does happen, expect Bungie to finally develop this game in the direction they truly wanted with PS3's hardware.

Do you guys think that a halo 4 will be destined for the 360. I would save a title such of this magnitude for the 720 launch. Unless this title has been in the works and has had some real dev time already.

The 360 will be 5 years on November 22 2010. i think 5 years is enough primetime years for a console.

So I guess Halo 4 must have been what Microsoft had up their sleeve.... honestly it wasn't anything that was unexpected because Microsoft will always milk the Halo franchise as long as there is a Xbox console.

I guess innovation in the gaming industry really has gone out of the window and I guess whenever Microsoft starts to run out of games they can always release another Halo or Gears of War, ha ha.

The Halo series has been so overrated at times I just wish that it would just die.

Because I know this will not happen but I would love to see Halo 4 on the ps3 and the game using the same engine as Killzone, now that would be all sorts of good.

halo 3 was amazing but felt rushed like halo 2. Give them ample time and I'm sure the game will shine.

FF has over 48 franchises and 20 spin offs, that's milking in 20 years
mgs has 25 games and several spinoffs in 20 years

Get a new creative department. The story was uninspiring and the characters unenaging. The rest of it I loved, it just needs quality storyline to pull all of it together.

Considering the name implied the ring worlds created by the forerunners. Seeing as they were pretty much destroyed in the previous games, should it be called halo or does it begin the "rumored" marathon series. This could be marathon's beginning or something completely new.

I would like to see a game based on the stories before halo but I wouldnt want bungie to make it george lucas style.

Halo 4?? Meh. Halo 1 was great for its time (and still fun online to this day) but 3 was so ridiculously over rated. I don't think it deserved more than a 6/10. This time, I'm not buying into the b*llshit.

I think Sony is more innovative than MS but really this isn't what gets a console it's audience.The average consumer doesn't give a hoot about innovative games, rather that they look to play great judging by the cover - ps3 and 360 gamers obviously not wii.I'm all for innovation though and every game should be a little bit better in this respect otherwise why bother

Hopefully a new Halo that goes beyond the quite superb Halo3 - not without minor disappointments here and there but enormous fun and beautifully refined

If this rumor is true, I hope they improve the graphics, the story, the color scheme, the art design, the voice acting, the mood, the grunt's voices, the level design, the on-line match-making, the music, and the weapons. They should keep the controlls the same as Halo 3 though.

they should leave halo4 for the next xbox and it might have graphics like the on in the pic of this OP but yes it would be to long of a wait but hey a quality game is worth any amount of time waiting for IMO.

I love halo and if they announce a part 4 or chronicles whatever i'm going to be excited. E3 is so close and MS is finally after a year going to break there silence and announce whats ahead. This is going to be a huge show and I'm sure everybody will be excited about something.

I'm Halo Crazy so I cant wait until July 14th.I think Microsoft will take over this year at E3 especially if Halo 4 is announced.My only worries are that since Bungie isnt exclusive anymore that PS3 will get it too but I doubt it.I could never see myself playing Halo on a PS3.That would be worse than a Britney Spear's crotch shot.

I would enjoy another Halo in about three years. What want to see at E3 is Half-Life 2: Episode 3, Gears 2, a new Star Fox, Fable 2 (screw all of you jerks), Bioshock 2, Resident Evil 5, and Mass Effect 2. I also hate God of War because of the loser Kratos. If an FF7 remake is announced I will buy a PS3.

Halo 4 is probably a prequel of Halo 3.
Resistance 2 will smash Halo in it's tracks and Killzone 2 will just nuke it.
