With Cooking Mama readily available for DS and Wii, Nintendo fans have very likely already sat behind the virtual grill, but development studio SuperVillain Studios and publisher Zoo Games are hoping that a unique twist on the sub-genre will woo players back -- and it might. In Order Up!, you will take on the role of a budding chef, and as such you will be required to churn out a variety of uniquely tasty dishes on a regular basis. In contrast to the Cooking Mama series, however, which holds your hand through the food preparation process, Order Up! challenges you to multitask, managing multiple dishes at any given moment, and even assigning recipes to sioux chefs. You'll need to be speedy, too, since you don't want to keep your customers waiting. As a result, the experience is much more relentless and intense than Cooking Mama.

From the review: "While minor issues exist with the game's controls and 3D-enabled visuals, the majority of gameplay features have been significantly improved for the handheld experience. With its low asking price and extensive amount of content, Order Up!! will easily occupy numerous hours with preparing dishes and managing restaurants. Order Up!! delivers an addictive and charming gameplay experience that should be on the menu for both beginner and experienced chefs."

Darryl Linington from ITF Gaming writes: Developed by SuperVillain Studios and published by Fun Box Media, Order Up is the latest restaurant/management simulator to grace the PlayStation 3. While Order Up was originally released on the Nintendo Wii back in 2008, we ask, does its PlayStation 3 counterpart live up to expectations… or does it simply just chargrill the those beautiful omelettes that would of tasted great, but somehow caught fire due to a lazy chef? Let’s find out!

Marcia Webb of The Married Gamers reviews Order Up!, the latest 3DS restaurant management game you are sure to enjoy. How does this game compare to some of the more popular cooking games though? Read on to find out!
