YAY!
Can't wait to pick it up when it hits consoles!

DarthZoolu4148d ago

Subpar Megaman rehash no 10. No thank you. I still have actual Mega Man games (ZX) so not gonna waste gaming time on this.

FullmetalRoyale4148d ago

Why are you acting like it is the redheaded stepchild?

This is the creator of Mega Man, with other MM alumni, essentially making Mega Man.

Capcom obviously put him in this situation.

This is no more a "rehash" than MM nine and ten were, and I loved them. I'm not trying to say you can't feel the way you're feeling, it just seems like you are going to miss out, for all the wrong reasons.

XisThatKid4148d ago (Edited 4148d ago )

Seriously...Are you really going to call it a "rehash" considering this a franchise that has over a hundred games with the Mega Man brand affiliated and only 9 direct sequels that almost entirely play exactly the same. I'ma go out on a limb and say I think you greatly enjoyed the X series this is what?
Now The MM franchise is my fav series of all time
rehash or not This man and his people put alot of time and effort into this I just want this to be a finished product and give me a Bass equivalent eventually.
All the "cool" things about the X series and the charm and spirit of the original. This is the natral evolution of Mega Man. So glad Keiji never gave up on his baby. I'm glad to be a backer.

You can't call yourself a mega man fan and then bash the man that brought the up to life.

Capcom put this man and that legend of an up into the fire and left it. I am just appauled that people can bash this game and call it a rip when the whole point of funding and starting the project was BECAUSE of the lack of support Capcom has shown towards one of gaming's legendary icons.

Mighty No.9 is service to the fans who've been screaming at capcom for years to give us a Megaman game, instead we get cancellations of the games and a firing of the staff and the man that brought us the games we loved from that house. Be thankful that the soul of that ip is living on in this spiritual successor and somewhat reimagining with Mighty No.9

Agree, definitely getting this for Vita when I can. :)

MegaRay4148d ago

My Vita, PS3, and PC awaits. First one to release will be bought. Tho if they release it together, Vita it is.

Man, what a let down this was. I don’t even want to admit what I added to the crowd fund… let’s just say I learned a valuable lesson.

I think a large swath of the N4G community has been in your shoes.

Lol, I literally said that out loud when clicking on this article.

VersusDMC1379d ago

Only tried the demos for both and mighty 9 looked atrocious. Megaman 11 was fun and polished. Never played both full versions but will see it they are on PS Extra when i get home.

Mostly get my megaman fix playing the azure gunvolt games and spin offs. And Maverick Hunter X on my Vita.

VersusDMC1378d ago

Just tried Mighty No 9 again on PSExtra...graphics are atrocious and taking down enemies by dashing into them feels so hollow.

Kickstarter's Gaming Successes Prove Big Gaming Doesn't Know What Fans Want

Kickstarter has allowed game developers all over the world to bring their respective visions to life, while AAA Studios remains out of touch.

TheEnigma3132261d ago

This is very true. Companies like EA, UBI, MS seem to be disconnected from what fans want.

Um I’m not too sure about that check how well those games sold besides the money they got from Kickstarter they didn’t sell nearly as much as most games from publishers (AAA or not).

The unfortunate reality is these days games like Shenmue 3 and Bloodstained are incredibly niche and the only way it could survive is by use of a fan funded website like Kickstarter.
