Set aside multiple hours to play. This is no jump in jump out game.

Clear your gaming list as Elite Dangerous will consume your game life

Do all tutorials especially flight and docking

Money is important as it allows for upkeep and expansion.

Stay in the kiddie zones until you are ready all around for deep space.

Space is huge and empty but when you run into another person most likely it's gonna be an intense meeting with your ship cargo and bank account all on the line.

So shields up and start going over the specs of that ship and the pros and cons of fighting vs fleeing because it's about to get extremely tense.

Combat in Elite Dangerous is mind numbing. It drains you because it's so realistic but so rewarding.
