Ubisoft finally offered gamers some relief last week after they finally released a patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity that improved online stability for the title’s new four-player cooperative mode. Even though the update was released on all platforms, there were some issues with the Xbox One version of the patch that required users to download an additional 40 GB on the Xbox One while those playing Assassin’s Creed Unity on Playstation 4 and PC were only met with a update file of less than 7 GB.
Thankfully, Ubisoft was able to work with Microsoft and have now managed to significantly trim down the massive download of the newest Assassin’s Creed Unity patch on the Xbox One. Providing an update on the file size issue, the developer revealed on Monday that Patch 4 for Assassin’s Creed Unity will now only require a much smaller download that is more in line with the files size of the same patch found on other platforms.
