SoulCalibur and OddWorld caught my eye. Already got too many versions of Half-Life 2.

Mobile devices are really kicking ass with these console games.

Getting my shield tablet for Christmas, so excited to be able to play these games anywhere.

I have the Shield Portable and it does not disappoint. Lots of horsepower in a portable package. And if you Pc game with an Nvidia card the game streaming is phenominal.
You made a wise choice with the Shield.

I think I know what I'm hinting to the girly for Christmas.

It's a nice piece. Shield Tablet is the first tablet I've owned so even the basic functionality makes it worth it for me. The fact it's powerful, gamer-focused with extra storage space potential is icing on the cake.

Game-wise I've only tried some android stuff. Vice City's controls translate well to the controller. Trine 2 is pretty alright, but I get the sense the battery drains quite quickly if you're playing portably. As a plug & play console hooked up to a TV & the mains electric, it's great. As for streaming from the rig, my 560ti doesn't cut the mustard. But hell, something for the future.

From the article list however...I noticed that the 'android' version of XcomEU is incompattible with the Shield Tab, for whatever reason.

Just installed it and looking forward to new info about Switch 2

VenomUK409d ago

Guys, let me save you the bother of downloading this: there’s no Xbox, PlayStation or Steam coverage.

burd_persin409d ago (Edited 409d ago )

Ya think? It seems odd that Nintendo wouldn't include Xbox, Steam, and Playstation on their app. It's quite unusual. 😅

Chocoburger410d ago

Not really worth debating over. Its just a free news / media app. If you care about Nintendo properties, then yes download it. If not, then avoid it and move on with your life.

Probably more worth it than coming to n4g day after day

hiawa23410d ago

Oh, hell yeah. Installed. Have loved Nintendo since the 80s.
