Frontier Developments Launches Elite: Dangerous with Oculus Rift Support

VRFocus - On 5th January 2013 UK-based indie studio Frontier Developments completed a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign to develop a new entry in its long-running Elite space simulation videogame series, Elite: Dangerous. The developer raised some £1,578,316 GBP to create the project, which it would go on to confirm would feature full support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). Today, after extensive Alpha, Beta and Gamma testing, the developer has finally launched Elite: Dangerous on PC for £39.99.

I hope Ubisoft are taking notes. Frontier have bend over backwards with this game. Sure it had probs during beta but most were fixed within hours!! Well done to David Braben & his team :)
