
Several Reddit forum users reported that the Far Cry 4 is flat out refuse to work when it comes to running on dual-core computer without hyperthreading on board. Not that who use hyperthreading are in good news. According to reports, while the game does not load on PCs using hyperthreading, performance is not enough in order to generate a good experience.

Kudos to Ubisoft for once again going back to older titles and then offering a nice upgrade for free. I know the company gets a lot of criticism, in quite a few cases understandable and justified, but in this area of contintued post-launch support for their SP games, they deserve some credit.

I'm using a I5 2500K and that is good enough, for how long I don't know.

Todays dual core are faster then the consoles's cpu lawl.
My budget gaming rig uses a Pentium Dual Core (the new Haswell ones not the old Pentiums) and I've never run into a problem running any game. I haven't played Far Cry 4 yet so I hope they fix the problem soon.
