And killzone ended up a fairly good selling series for awhile, planetside 2 is a far better game.

To be fair, Guerrilla Games never once billed Killzone as a Halo-killer. That was all from the stupid journos at the time (2003~2004) who only made the comparisons because Sony was finally getting a PS-exclusive FPS game. In reality, GG never made comparisons like that and Killzone was always completely different to Halo in terms of just about everything besides the fact both were FPSes.

Stupid hype aside, I got KZ1 not long after it launched and loved it to bits, especially the online multiplayer mode which I met many friends on and played for years after its release until they shut the servers down back in 2012.

He didn't say make the game like Halo.

That game is built for sticks. PS2 is an FPS, a genre which controllers will lose every time to M&K. People who always say that usually can't handle the twitch and precision fighting, lack of auto aim/assist, or they have never played on PC. There are folks who prefer controllers to sit on their couch and what not. That's different. Honestly I hope there is cross play, and not gimped were they make the PC cross hairs all fat and sluggish. Then this argument can finally be laid to rest.
