So hard to justify the $900 for the top end i7. I don't know what market these units are for, but I can't exactly see them flying off the shelves. $900 can get you a Very nice Pc. A very nice, Upgradeable Pc.
Even though these are pointless to us PC gamers, this is a HUGE opportunity to bring in the casual crowd and introduce them into the hardcore territory as well as get the console-only gamers into the PC waters (no IGN pun intended)..
So imo i think these are a great start, but dang that price seems steep, gonna be hard to lure casuals and console gamers in with a price like that.. we shall see.
I really wanted too get a Alpha but when I checked up on the comparisons on the cpu's they are offering look at how old they are. I checked 2012 wow the cpu's are 2 years old it's really not worth the money not because of the brand name. Maybe it's because all 3 cpu's offered use only 35w of power and in a few months it's obsolete. I wish we could get close to0 x51 specs for the the price of a x51.
