Having a blast with this game. This and AC 2 are now my favorite in the series.

decrypt4207d ago

The game is awesome, runs dam smooth at 1080p on my setup.

I want to run this at 5760*1080, so i hope they optimize it a bit more.

Overall the graphics are amazing. Probably the best looking game for 2014.

Kumomeme4206d ago

seriously?putting aside those graphics, but there are tons of isssues like framerate and stutter that affect the performance and gameplay experience...pull aside those glitch, this game was another bad port from ubisoft...lack of optimization lead lot of people complaining of bad peformance...

well we continue hope ubisoft keep fix stuff time to time

I am getting 80-120 fps on my setup, frame rate is not an issue.

people can disagree all they want , aside from (unforgivable) tech issues , the game itself , the graphics , gameplay is pretty great .

It still provides the level of challenge all of us hoped for in the serie , tons of customisation and the tale , despite it being in a time period i hardly wanted , is compelling .

Even with its huge sins , there is inside the best AC game since AC2

^^ YESS!! this game and story is so good lol. ubi haters can disagree all they want. yes i do agree they f'd up the launch, but this game is awesome and a lot more challenging than previous AC games. It's too bad it's masked by the bugs :(

the only negative i Think is that you cant kick enemies of from ledges and u cant use youre stealth Knifes as a weapon AND you cant use enemies as cover when enemies shooting at you.

I agree the game looks amazing, once its completely fluid and smooth.
I personally feel the story was a little lacklustre and the character (Arno) was pretty boring.

The big thing that I have enjoyed with most Assassins games is the way in which the past is used to uncover things in the present.
With black flag it was still there, but a little less. We do not know who the present character is, but we see Juno.

In this game there is no connection to the present apart from the communication with shaun and the chick ( cant remember her name).
I think its a good game, but a real step back from Black flag and the rest of the series.

Oh and the in game monetisation is ridiculous :/

This game has been out 6 days and we're already on patch 3? Not trolling, that's just cray cray.

Baka-akaB4207d ago

sure but if it were up to everyone , we'd be on patch six already . There is much to fix and atone for

Tedakin4207d ago

True. I haven't played it myself, but the glitch montages on Youtube are pretty funny.

crazychris41244207d ago

If it were up to everyone we wouldn't need to patch this broken game in the 1st place. We all would have delayed it to next year to get it to work properly for each version.

In Ubisoft's defense, it can be difficult to code for every possible machine configuration out there...but I'm not sure if that's what the issue is or not. The console versions seem to be running pretty smooth except for a few sensationalized cases. All in all, it's a great game that fans of the series should love; it is more like AC2 with greater gameplay depth and customization. I didn't even want the game but it came with my Xbox One and now I'm glad it did. I won't lie, I was surprised I liked it so much..

desertpunk864207d ago

unity is a great game i haven't encountered any bugs yet but the frame rate drops are real and annoying as well.

i haven't played an AC game in 3 years maybe that's why i can actually enjoy AC unity.

UNKLE4207d ago

This is the most boring ac games i ever played i mean idiot soap opera story...

I can't sit here and act like I know these workers financial situations. And I'm sure nobody wakes up WANTING to go to court. But for the sake of the industry, I wish some of these types of cases made it to trial.

Settlements allow companies to continue to do whatever abusive practices they do. While the trials (should the company lose) would actually force real changes for the better.

But again, I'm not in these workers shoes and I can understand them not wanting to risk it.
