DSOGaming writes: "A couple of months ago, we had the pleasure of interviewing Cloud Imperium's Engine Technical Director, Sean Tracy, who shared with us some interesting new information about their upcoming PC exclusive space sim, Star Citizen. We talked with Sean about a lot of topics such as the game's PC-only nature, mod support, DX12, some of the key graphical features of Star Citizen, as well as the game's PC requirements and its multi-core CPU support."

StarCitizen is already a success with a record breaking $60 million plus in crowdfunded. The game is paid for and is now basically just turning a profit as all Dev teams have been paid and are happily working on their modules with.......

No rush time No publisher on their backs No deadlines and with No limitations as they are able to change things as they see fit to make StarCitizen perfect.

StarCitizen is Pc Gaming at its finest and an example of how gaming should be.

Greatness awaits us all by way of Cloud Imperium Games and their massive project StarCitizen.

I get goose bumps everything I see or here StarCitizen because I already know it's gonna blow gamers away and usher in a new Era of gaming.

Have you played it yet? I'm excited for a huge space game but everything I've seen looks lackluster at best. I want it to be amazing but I'm saying it here first. It's gonna be bad.

Pandamobile4215d ago

How does it look lackluster?

user56695104214d ago (Edited 4214d ago )

the hate continues lol. i like to play the wait and see game to but the didnt even show much and the dog fights and fps looks better than most games. most of what he said and explained in the interview is what people want in their so called next gen games. i know i know if it was on consoles or a ps exclusive this game would be perfect.

The Order LOOKS AWESOME!!!!

JamesBondage4214d ago

the content they've released so far is just to reward people for backing the project, its not supposed to be anything mind blowingly awesome.. not yet

R6ex4214d ago

Haters gonna hate.

Now, I'm getting my space sim fix with Elite: Dangerous while waiting for 2016's SC Squardron 42.

Sure....since they raised close to a billion they don't even need to make a profit.

blacktiger52d ago

Well You know GTA 6 is like 2 billion dollar. So I don tknow why you trippin

jznrpg52d ago

But it’s not funded by players for over 13 years. And it will release before Star Citizen

blacktiger51d ago

what difference does it make, it's being funded while you are pissed off, money is money. Why do you have emotion?

Pergele51d ago

Did you know you are so stupid? Like it's almost funny

Azurite52d ago

The money is allocated between two games, most of it goes to Squadron 42.

peppeaccardo52d ago

Feels like when at the mall people stop you to give you free products and once you accept they won't stop to follow you until you buy the rest ..... F-DAT !

Noskypeno51d ago

What, you don't want shoe cleaner that costs more than the shoe?

raWfodog51d ago

I do wish they'd release this for PS5 Pro at the very least. I've been craving a good realistic space exploration game since Frontier Developments stopped supporting ongoing updates for Elite Dangerous on consoles. I put a ton of hours into that game and then they just stopped console support when the Odyssey update came out. Pissed me off LOL. I guess I'll get back into No Man's Sky for the time being since there's a bunch of new stuff since I've last played.

andy8551d ago

I didn't even realise you had to pay. Who on earth is paying to play a game that is still in alpha over a decade on 😂

thorstein51d ago (Edited 51d ago )

"A decade?"

This started before No Man's Sky was announced.

2011. It's been a decade and a half.

Shameless plug for NMS: you can build all of Star Citizens' ships in NMS for free. The only difference is that one of these games has launched...a decade ago. And the new update allows you toto capture creatures and battle them in an arena.

Knightofelemia51d ago

It's still a giant money sucker fools and their money are soon parted.
