Ubisoft is always able to make the weirdest choice

in this day and age there is no excuse for blunders when it comes to videogames and the communities they support. Because developers are in direct contact with the very people that buy their games and have the ability to ask the community what they want and what they don't.

Obviously, Ubisoft feels it knows more what the community wants, than the community itself. It's pure arrogance and has nothing to do with the budget. They just want to sell post launch DLC. Otherwise, why would they remove the feature they know everybody has loved since the very beginning?

Why, oh why. I love their games so much, but they make terrible choices sometimes.

I confess this decision doesn't affect me, as I never played the multiplayer of Far Cry 3 (tried once and didn't like). And always thought that the editor was a waste if we couldn't make decent single player maps (I don't know if that feature was added later, because initially there was no AI and other things important for a single player game).

I'm glad they're concentrating on the single player experience, although I feel your outrage. This clearly related to the DLC multiplayer modes.

Well thats weak, no wonder they didnt mention the map editor of FC4 before. Although I always thought Ubi cutting out the editor was only a matter of time, its still a low blow for the FC fans that sticked with them since Far cry 1 or 2

In this state i might either wait till they put it in, or play through the story and sell it soon after. Im kinda bummed

Why is everyone jumping on the hate train... There's already enough content in the game to warrant the full price anyhow, a lot of gamers these days are entitled p*ss ants...seriously, you need to stop friggin moaning!!!!!

UniSoft you should listen to you fans before you have none left. if you mess this up like you did far cry 3 multiplayer then it will be the end of the far cry franchise. I bought far cry 3 on the back far cry 2 as we played that every night and still do now 5 years after release far cry 3 is just a dust gatherer on my shelf. I pre ordered 4 because I thought they could mess it up twice but it seems I am wrong and wish I could cancel my pre order
