All I can say what is false is that this assassin's creed games are not rushed. They have like 4 different teams working on creed games and each one is around 3 years or more to finish. It just needs more fine tuning. I think this is going to be the norm now. Big triple AAA Titles that are complex tend to always have bugs. It's just they don't want to spend another year fixing it so they release it with bugs a fix it with patchs. It's like u are paying for a early beta.

I don't really mind though if it's a little glitchy. If it's to the point it's non playable then they should of never released the game yet.

AC Unity is a good reminder for me that the adage "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. For AC Unity I am glad I waited to see footage, reviews, and streamers before spending any money on this title. Ubisoft will continue to sell copies of AC Unity but I think they will realize fewer sales than what could have been for many of the reasons detailed in the article. I for one am not planning a purchase at this time.

Publishers releasing unproperly tested games and selling it to the consumer. Should this be illegal?

Ubisoft and EA are rivals, just as Activision is with Rockstar (COD and GTA always competing).
Honestly, I think most companies are struggling with the 8th gen. I like their AAA games too much to hate them.

Well another one bits the dust EA used to be a good company, squareenix, rockstar, capcom these names used to mean quality now they just mean shut up and give me money.

Personally i think that ubisoft had a good start to the year and they had some really nice games that i enjoyed. It just seems to have gone horribly wrong since they launched watchdogs.

They're milking a very obvious formula with their latest games. Big open world, lots of collectibles, "side quests", co-op with friends, and companion app tie-ins. If you can't complete something, then hey, you can buy your way to completion. The whole thing feels less like an organic game, and more a manipulative timesink whose purpose is to make you invest as much time and money as possible into the product.

THey better have my PS4 FC4 version running at optimum, otherwise I am going to try refrain from buying the game on either console. The game should be running at 1080p at 60fps... we're not in PS3/360 gen anymore.

The only Ubisoft games I support now are the Far Cry games and any UbiArt games. I'm so sick of large publishers like EA, Ubisoft, and Activision milking gamers.

That's absolutely true. Say what you will about Origin, at least it runs most of the time. UPlay is still a mess, and they had the gall to think they'd actually survive outside of Steam for a bit.

Why is it we can control ourselves when it comes to movies, music and TV ?
Every year movies, music, TV shows fail no matter how much money went into making and promoting them. Yet all we need to see on a game case are the words COD and we blindly hand over our money.

I'm not going to say that they're the new EA just yet but the way they're going currently, it's a safe bet to say that they eventually will be.

Why does Ubisoft insist on having 100's of on screen NPC's in their AC games? That can't be good for the framerate and it only adds a little bit to the atmosphere of the game-if anything, navigating around so many NPC's is annoying.

I think we can all agree the games they release are not bad games by any mean. The problem here is the clarity.

Ubisoft needs to be more honest with us (The customers). If you promote a game with bad graphics doesn't mean we will not buy it. Look at Minecraft for God sakes. When a game is good we will buy it. Just be honest to us.

- Tell us if the graphics are downgraded.
- Tell us we might face some glitches that will be fixed for a later patch and for the people that buy it on day one gets compensate with the first DLC free. (Its a WIN/WIN situation). Or don't; just be honest !!
- You treating us like this won't effect you right away but it will catch up.
- People that buy your games all work for the their money, the last thing they need is a feeling of being fooled.
- Plus for the love of GOD. Get rid of UPLAY.

Who cares? Skyrim had a massive amount of technical issues that nearly left the game unplayable for the first few weeks, yet Bethesda didn't get half the amount of flack Ubisoft is getting for Unity. This has less to do with any technical problems, and more to do with the game's microtransactions. And again, who cares? If you don't want to buy more stuff, than don't. It's that simple. Acting like you are entitled to that content just because you bought the game just makes you look like a spoiled brat.

Ubisoft is a crappy company no doubt about it, but what about videogame journalism?

Ubisoft has been worse than EA for a long time. They've come out and said "We won't publish a game unless we can make a franchise out of it." They still do Online passes. Push DLC down people's throats, created their own service which has to be used to play PC games. They've been worse than EA for a while.

Been playing it on my friends PC and all I have to say is I am glad it wasn't me that wasted money on this game. It is a bit glitchy and seems like the parkour made a 180 and is very frustrating. Framerates ok, but 3 types of currencies is this right??? and microtransactions...boy.....
