excited for E3 this year. While I think Sony might win in terms of the games shown, MS won't be far behind with some of there big games. But I think MS will steal the show when the announce a price cut and the core gets below $200 and the pro is $250 and elite is $300. I don't really care what Nintendo does. But this years E3 should actually be good for a change.

Microsoft ripped everyone off with their "amazing future proof" 360; however, that is not the case, they did not take the risk like sony did. And sony won because they gambled and they won because they have made a brillant machine that will still be able to out power consoles for quite some time, we are yet to see the true power of the PS3. What has 360 yet to show us, how similar GeOW and GeOW2 look???? What could M$ possible display that is game changing, an add on that changes the game automatically? I think this just damage limitation as sony has deffinately got burning power at E3 with the 2.4 update and other such features.

It needs to be. MS has lost some of their momentum from last year, and the PS3 is quickly recovering from its slow start.

What's needed: New and original IPs, a system price cut, Blu-Ray on 360, and a surprise or two. And I would also suggest they do a better job advertising their games.

I'm not trying to get to hyped but will admitt that im looking forward to what MS has to offer this E3.

Anything they do at this point will counter-act what they've been ragging on since day 1. If they go Newton then they're simply hypocrits because they claimed they didn't need one...and then they get one.

If they get blu-ray drives...well let's face it when DVD lost to Blu-Ray they stuck their noses high claiming it was a victory for DVD's (which data has been provided that Blu-Ray Movies are actually out-pacing DVD's so...where's the real win?). E3 has gotten smaller, its all powerpoint now.
Hope they remember its supposed to be a show.
Last year was pretty sad for m$. They used all their resources and hyped the hell out of a average game.
But mostly, they bragged about recycled RROD sales.
Its over, and E3 will be the show where they make it obvious.

I used to have a xbox. I was all gung ho and patriotic in 2007.
then i noticed my credit card payments, got rrod twice and cod4 was on a ps3.
I had no more room on my xbox 360 hardrive thanks to halo3, i had leftover m$ points and still couldn't add them up properly to know exactly how much money was leftover. Gears was a lagfest and all my favorite multi platform games were free to play online on the ps3.
I started to feel like I had one hand in my pocket and my xbox360 was a ticking time bomb!
Arcade games were cool to download, hey I loved UNO but i felt like I was missing some little retro games that I used to play that shaped the games i was playing and that was ps1, ps2 and psp games. Obviously, xbox arcades would never get those games.
I thought video was a great idea until I payed for a few. I thoughts was next gen when you could download and watch while downloading but that was a huge lie as every 5 seconds i get the buffering graph bars. That sucked.
I used to hollar in my house about achievements until a few of those achievements killed me because it blocked my view or was in the way of some text from the game.
i wish they would have upgraded the gamerscore into something cooler but no they rather stick old spice ad and ad for the u.s army & navy on top of the theme I just payed for.
As a gamer I started to feel dirty because I love first person shooters because they are very addicting to me and I know im getting drained of my money to play it but there was no way i was gonna wait for sony to come around the so called next gen era.
Little did I know i was stuck on last gen and being confused because im playing last gen games with graphics splashed on them and Im encouraged by fans who feel that xbox 360 games are the best games ever to be invented, when i know the best games are on my top 10 list and from previous years of other consoles.
I traded my xbox for a ps3 when cod4 was out and I kick myself for not having done it sooner.
While I did play xbox360 best games there was nothing i couldnt live without. Ghost recon was my first love of this gen and its on ps3.
while its debatable about which version is better, the ps3 version had everything i bought on live right on the disc. That hurt me.
And Now, here we are.
Its a well known fact that xbox 360 has been maxed.
Im so happy with all the money im saving and the truly next generation of gaming with all of the ps3 exclusives, the multiplatform games are a bonus and a great one at that. I dont really play my games with a magnifying glass and a stop watch or scrutinize a game because it on another system. For me, paying for downloadable content on xbox while ps3 get it all one the disc like it used to be, sealed the deal.
Before this gen started we all wooried about micro-transactions and xbox360 raped gamers with the worst console ever created in history.
overblown reviews, format battle that lost, losing big developers, a controller that isnt a %1oo%, add on after add on, and now limeted games and outdated technology.
While i play the sony droid on this site because its fun. Ive been there and I hear some of you xbox 360 fans. I hope that xbox 360 continues to get small developers so that they dont have to wait on sony's shelf of blockbusters. But seriously if Sony go in for the kill at E3?
The xbox 360 has absolutly no chance of making a comeback and will continue being the biggest joke in gaming history.
It might as well be discontinued because there is nothing on there that ps3 cant do better and make sequels of good games more amazing than the 1.5 treatment good games get at microsoft. they are a embarrassment. but thank the lord for xbox live, because thats how to keep friends together even though they are constantly paying.
